GB: SR20 FWD ATi Super Damper

Okay this is continued from this thread;
ATI

Details:

This GB is for a SR20 FWD Super ATi Damper. These are being made for the first time, I was able to talk to JC,at SEMA, whom is VP-Operations for ATi. Suggested retail will be $395 if there is good response from this GB(will stock this on normal basis) otherwise it will be a one time thing.

Cost: $295 for more than 10 buyers and $345 between 5-10
S&H: $20
Paypal fee: 3%

Total thru PP:dmcelso@yahoo.com is $324.45 FOR 10+ AND $355.95 between 5-10
If you want to pay via money order you no longer have add the PP fee.
PM me for my mailing address.

Shipping: All West Coast buyers, your dampers will be shipped to me then I will ship them off to you accordingly. The rest will be drop shipped from ATi.

Deadline of payments: OPen til further notice. We can probably extend the GB longer but I need 10 payments by then so we can have these by Christmas. I already contacted the 10 folks below for payment, so please pay accordingly and on time.

1.Daxx-PAID
2.97se-rblown PAID
3.nissasin-PAID
4.JUSdet-luv-PAID

When sending payments please indicate your forum name.

Once I receive all funds I will send JC(ATi) a money order or cahsier's check. He then will make a initial damper, handmade, for fitment. Once everything is good he will make a production run on a CnC.

JC can also tune each damper a little differently if someone has bigger HP and higher RPM than most. I told him most of us will be going that way so if not let me know and I will give him the needed input. The pulley given to him is based of the VE engine.

Here is info regarding the ATi Damper, look under the Damper Tech section at the bottom of the page.

This is not for a race version but will ask once drawings are finalized to see if this can work for a template. A one off will start at 500 at least...

Just to let everyone know that the reponse in paying has been less than stellar( I am not surprised). We are potentially at 7 and that is me buying 2 sets. Please spread the word, I may cough up the difference or we may end up paying the 345 fee. I will keep the time to pay open til ATi wants the fundage....

Well def not cool but then at least we are still opted to get this done for us even at 5-7 sets. We may end up shelling more cash but wont cost us and arm and a leg....

Folks please PM or post how much power you plan to make and high you plan to rev. JC is going to tune each damper for your application.

Also the OD is not big enough to do a 360 deg timing marks. So he will keep it similar to OEM. HE can make tick marks at 90, 180,270 if you want. Also the OD of the big pulley will be less then 8% smaller, this will not be an issue and I dont think a bigger belt is needed rather adjustment on the tensioner moreof.

noted power level for unijabnx2000.

For the GTiR I have both measurements and will see if it will fit now...

With any GB there are delays, I expected it and am not surprise. I am more concerned though we may not reach the required amount of people to pay $295 so just a heads up to those who paid. We may need to add a lil more to make up the difference. At least we have a window to get more peeps on it since the proto is not done yet,

For those whose power levels are under 600, we will just use 60 durometer and those above that will use 70 duro. I do not see anyone needing 80 or 90 duro for their setups.

test fitment will be done next week. He just got finished with it. I will make sure everything fits fine and timimg marks are correct. If everything goes well, a production run will be made.

I am really weary since I know we wont reach the amount of people needed to get the 295 price...we may have to add some more to make this come thru.
