I'm not 100% sure yet, but today, USPS tried to deliver something to me today and I believe it was my shift & e-brake boot. There was no one home at the time so it wasn't left there, and I had class all day today so I couldn't go try to pick it up. But tomorrow I should have it, and I'll try to take pictures with my digicam right away if it is the shift boot

Maciek,

I think you mean to say B14's not S14's. Same brand different model.

I got mine yesterday also. It looks great. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but I don't expect a problem. Thanks Keepsake.

well my previous post was a false alarm, it was something else, but yesterday it did come (and I wasn't home to receive it), but I picked it up today. Here's a picture of it, I haven't installed it yet though, it's just on top of the envelope:

Hi everyone,

I'm shipping the rest of the GB sets tomorrow (and yes, I meant the B14 quad stitched ones - these were the hardest to do and took a bit longer than expected).

The installation of the shifter boot should be obvious with a few tips:

- on the B14s, you will need to remove the wire from the bottom of the original boot and slide it into the special fold on the bottom of the new boot

- since leather is thicker than vinyl, you might need to use a ZIP-tie instead of the plastic piece that was mounted on top of the original boot. It will look the same, but be simpler to do.

I'm working on the install instructions for the e-brake boot and a proper write-up for the shifter boot and I'll let everybody know via e-mail as soon as they're available.

The current price is $50 shipped for a set - there's a Christmas sale right now. Check out http://boots.hypermart.net for more info!

Take care,
Maciek

Shifter Boots

I received mine about 2 weeks ago. Putting it on is pretty much a remove and replace process. Remove the wire from your old boot and put it in your new one and your done. Just be careful with the plastic clips holding the boot (b-14's only). It's a very nice product and the shipping is very quick.
