Update is here, such a hostile crowd is brewing! Darlene is her name and she is the blame. This lady would not return my calls all last week and i finally got her on the phone today. My credit card has been charged the entire amount for the hoses, not the shipping yet. She said the rates go up on monday so the shipping may be more. I told her that whatever the shipping goes up it is taken out of the cost of the hosesanything over 125 cause that is what we had already worked out. Anyway, they go into manufacturing end of this week or next monday and should only take a week or two before shipped to the states and dispersed. I should have forseen this after the last group buy taking so long for manufacture and shipping. But the product will be very high quality, in the colors you want.

I am very sorry for not getting back to you all faster. I was very wrapped up in my own turbo project over the last week.

Peace out, Brent. You done good. If it hadn't been for your efforts, we'd be crying like babies because there weren't any decent silicone hoses out there.

Thanks for everything,

Mark

Yeah, no problem guys. These people at Baker don't put forth a lot of effort. It is like they have never ending business and don't have to work to get business. Wierd.

Well, from what I gather, they're not hurtin'. I wish companies would treat every customer the same...race team to the weekend auto -x'er to the Joe Shmo mechanic. No alienation, everybody's happy...can't be that hard.

"Brent,
Due the fact the each hose is hand made, I like to say about 4 weeks.
We have to get in line. It could be a little earlier.
Darlene"

This is the email she sent me yesterday. It seems that now that she has charged me credit card and gotten the money the truth comes out. I knew it would take a while but she said 1 to 2 weeks manufacture and then shipping. Now she says possibly 4 weeks manufacture, give me a break. At least we know that we are on the books now and they should start making them really soon here. I wish I could make it go faster I really do.

if you want an update you can always call them. The website is www.bakerprecision.com and you aks for darlene. Refer to the the Nissan 200sx radiator hose group buy. THey won't be there till Cali. time 9AM next week. not much for you to talk to her about now though. The hoses are lined up to go into production and that is in the UK.

Well, she has not charged my credit card. SHe said she decided not to until she knows the ETD. Whatever that is supposed to mean. WHo cares when they deliver, I can still pay for them right? Not according to this lady. ALL of you please feel free to start calling her and voicing your disgust. Maybe we can get these pushed through a little quicker. The number is on the www.bakerprecision.com website. I was originally planning now as the delivery date, and they are just going into manufacture.

ETD = Estimated Time of Delivery.

I've ordered from Baker before...took much longer than expected.

It's amazing they stay in business as slow as they are. What if we were a race team that needed some parts ASAP? Pffff, get in line.

sh*t yeah, I prefer not to do business with them because of this...not to mention Ive been shorted parts, and getting them to ship the missing pieces is a PITA!!

Since they are the only ones with this....what else can you do but wait.

Good job staying on top of things coach. Hopefully the product will be worth the wait.
