Maybe it's time to send her a letter with an attorney's letter head and letting her know that they've held the funds long enough w/o providing the product... penalities plus interest may be forthcoming.

Well, if the charge went through on my credit card then you would have a case. Unfortunately, the charge did not show up on my card as she has not charged my card yet and won't do so until the hoses are in her posession and ready to ship. I gave her the number and she was going to charge it and she decided not to until the ship day. I have all your funds still in my hands. It totally sucks but if they are in customs like she says then there isn't anything we can do. I will call her on Monday and find out what our options are. If she can't provide within a week, shall we just try and cancel, or do you want me to really push this?
Did the first silicon hose group buy have these problems? Just seems kind of funky that they're held up in customs.
Call her and get an order number from her, the contact the manufacturer of the item. Maybe she's stalling because they haven't even been produced yet. By calling the manufacturer, you might bypass her bs. Just an idea.
I will definitely try that this week. The past few weeks have been extremely busy for me as I have had Senior Project Presentations and such to deal with. I just finished today! All I have is two final exams and then I walk for Graduation on May 10! I will call Darlene at Baker and find something out on Monday and work on it all next week.

I find it hard to believe they've been in customs this whole time. It's a stinkin' hose! It's not a device to hold chemical weapons, it's a buncha hoses! What happens when the big race teams order hose...do they not get them because they're in customs?
Well supposedly they are stuck in customs, at least that is what Darlene at Baker says. They are having some problems I guess. She never gives me any details and it is getting really old. I hope to have more this week. I will be calling her non stop this week.
Well, I have something. They are supposedly shipped to Baker, but haven't cleared customs. The reason for the hold up originally is that the black silicone machine is down and was not able to produce. Therefore, the two of you that ordered black i sent a PM to asking to change to another color or be refunded. Darlene at Baker actually asked me if i wanted to continue this deal. I said we have waited 4 months for these damn hoses and i think we want them. If you don't want to get the hoses now, post a reply and if over half no longer want the hoses I will cancel the order and return funds to all of you. SHe said it should be no longer than 2 weeks from now if we stay in and the black hose orders change colors.
Dude this sounds like a load of crap I hope you guys get your stuff soon. I sure wouldn't have waited this long for two hoses I can get in a day. Maybe if these were "turbocharged" hoses I'd see the delay. Give em hell guys who cares if they are saposed to be some of the best in the world they owe you big time this is no way for them to run buisness.
She is contacting the company in the UK that made the hoses to see what they know about the hoses being held up. I know that modem_man is switching from black to red hoses and 1fastser is out cause he wanted black and doesn't want to switch. Now, I will start calling her everyday to figure out what the problem is and what she is going to do. If they can't comply within the next couple weeks I am going to tell her to forget it and return all your funds. THis has been hanging over my head for far to long now and I am getting really tired of dealing with this woman. I will let you know what will happen as soon as she gets back with me.

Just an idea....Louis Anaya, which Im sure some of you know, offers the Samco hoses in the same colors....for $129 list....might want to talk to him about what kind of deal he can make if you cancel the order with Baker and give it to him...
