I got mine this morning. Other than the O2 sensor being in a bad spot (it only gets readings from ONE cylinder) and the weld quality being so so, it looks great. I'm hoping to get the install on later this week, though we'll see how it works out.

I installed mine this weekend. It was worth the wait and the hassles once it is on and working. I had a problem getting my EGR to thread in, looks the bung was mounted at a slight angle. Kept thinking it would thread on finally had to bend the tube to more closely match the bung.

Xard is it just me but I thought the welds were just plain bad. In the world of bicycles these welds would be totally unacceptable. With how many of these they make you would think they would be better at it.

I will talk to HS about the weld quality. Someone take some pics and send them to me..Thanks.

I PM'd people their tracking #s. If I did not respond to your PM, that is because your header will ship this week. I should have a definite time narrowed down by tomorrow.

From the UPS tracking site:
UPS has received shipper's billing information electronically. Billing information received does not indicate shipment pickup or drop-off. Please contact the shipper for more details.
Meaning as of June 4, my header has NOT been shipped.

Again I would like to apologize for all the headaches that this GB has caused. I initially was only going to sell the 10 I had on hand, but this ended up being so big that I just went ahead and turned it into a gb of sorts. Next time I do a gb I will do a little more thorough research on the co so that I know they can handle large orders and do it in a timely manner.

I think once everyone gets their headers they will be happy and forget about the long wait. We know it is not your fault and you have done a very good job at keeping everyone up to date on the happenings of the gb. It is sometimes hard to wait to get something, especially something that is expensive (we like instant gratification).

Thanks ..

Another thing that makes me dissapointed is the weld quality a few have complained about. That is something I'm looking into.

For all those who have received their header:

Is the gasket it comes with a good one or is it a good idea to get the '99 metal gasket from SR20performance?

This one:

I just used the ones that came with the header. I hope they do not suck too bad.

I also waited just a little over a month, but now it is all the car and not leaking, the wait does not seem so bad.

Got my header like 1 hour ago, looks good but the weld quality isn't very good. It like splatered and didn't bother to grind it down but from there on I'm very happy with my header. Thanks pdr once again good deal, I might install it tomorrow only problem is it's to hot gotta love AZ.

Later.
