If you are a resident of CA, where JWT is selling their product, then they have to charge you sales tax.

If you live outside of CA, then they don't have to charge you sales tax. But when tax time rolls around, you are supposed to pay the sales tax to the state you live in, on out-of-state purchases (that you didn't pay sales tax on when purchased).

If you don't pay, and you get audited, you'll get fined. If you don't get audited, then you saved some money.

A friend's parents were audited and got nailed on a mail order computer purchase from 3 years ago - not sure how much the fine was.

I know WI asks you to pay the sales tax on out-of state purchases.
The laws vary from state to state. You'll have to check on yours.

I am proud to say that the transplant operation was a success!!! Why do they tease you and not let you take it past 4000 rpms? Right when they kick in. Urgh! I can't wait to pull that bitch to redline.

I am not completely sure myself lol. From what I've read they help you from fing up your entire engine or something if you misshift. Kinda protects against mechanical overreving. I guess kind of just an insurance..
I figured I'd get em just in case someone other than me drives my car and doesn't really know how to shift they wont be able to fu*k my car up to much .

the rocker arm stoppers bolt to the cam caps and sort of loop down and leave about a 1/8th gap between the RAS and rocker arm. this prevents the rocker arm from flying off the pivots under high revs (ie: miss shift. 4th to 2nd)

ahah damn... yea i think its 500 miles, but in teh instructions that come with them from jwt they only say like 100 or something. Id say stick with 500.. that way you know they are broken in and you wont mess anything up redlinin it .

I followed their break-in instructions - 10 minutes at 2000 RPM, immediately after installation. Then set timing. Drove at varying RPM's under 4000 for 100+ miles.
Then they're good to go.
I also changed the oil & filter before installation, and plan to change the oil & filter at about 300 miles after installation.

The cams are great!
Thanks for setting up the group buy!
