B13 Projector headlights...who would be interested??
Ok this is my first time organizing one of these things but here goes... I really love the look that the projector headlights and the HID combination give off at night so I am thinking of trying to get a group buy going on a set of projector headlamps for the B13 Sentras. There have been none made (that I know of) so this would be a one of a kind deal. The style I am thinking of will be similar to the Audi projector headlamps the only difference being that there will be no seperate bulb for the high beams (there are a few hi/low beam HID headlamp kits out there). Pretty much as of right now this is just to gauge interest as I have no idea where to go to get these lights made (APC maybee?). If enough interest is shown, I am sure we can get somebody to make these headlamps.....
Not to poop in your Cheerios, but it's extraordiarily expensive to get products like this produced. The typical plastic mold costs $30,000 to make. Without a huge number of comitted buyers, I really doubt it would happen.

I have seen a website on a very complex how-to. It involved adding *expensive* projectors lights as a substitute for the OEM bulbs (same housing).
BUT this guy created lenses from GTS clear headlight covers. It involved heavy, intricate fiberglassing and precision hand-work. Looked like too much trouble and too much room for error.

The Tsurus are looking very good right now, arent they?
production plastics ingeneral is expensive. for a head light yer talking multiple molds, not to mention the hids etc.. all that adds up, and i seriously doubt there would be enough interest in the lights to make the money back on sales

I will also make some calls to see what I can fish up. I have a resource that may do better than Mossy. See what you can find out and I will see what I can get and we can see who we can benefit from more.
Ok I'll do that on Monday after I get off work and then I'll PM you with whatever info I have. I'm gonna try and see if I can get a good price on Tsuru tail lights too.
