Carbon fiber brake rotors and brake pads !

Gentlemen,

Introduction, I am Rick Crist, broker from the Hyperco 200/300 spring deal brought to you by Chris Scarpulla, just so all of you know who I am.

What I have come across may interest some of you, and some may be interested but just cannot afford them. What I have is an over run of Carbon/Carbon rotors and pads. This is by no means a “Daily Driver” application …… this is serious equipment, meant for serious use and is not cheap either. The Carbon/Carbon rotors and pads come from and out of the same manufacturer that supplies F1 and the IRL. Like I said, this is serious equipment not meant for the daily driver ………. OK, so what is the application ?

Import Drag racing and SCCA solo ……….. or anything else you want to use it on or have an application for. From my research, it is legal in all of the Import drag racing Associations and SCCA.

The advantages ? ………… Let’s skip all of the fluffy stuff, the HOTTER you get them, the BETTER they work and less rotating weight. Need I continue ? All of you have read at one time or another an article about Carbon Fiber brakes, you know what they can do !

You will have to fabricate some TYPE of hat or drum for your vehicle to make this work, so if there is a fab shop out there, speak up, and work with me on this. You guys know your cars better than I do.

I have 55 - 9” rotors that I feel will work for your application and plenty of pad material.
(65 F1 rotors if you can use any, HaHaHa) My initial thought on pricing would more than likely be in the $300.00 per rotor with 2 pads range. Group deal, maybe less … I will do what I can to make it most affordable to all and it will help me move product in the end.

If any of you have worked with me in the past, you know I do not check the forum regularly, but I do respond to my personal E-mail on a timely basis and you are always welcome to call Jill or myself …… So, if you have ever had any ideas on using Carbon/Carbon brakes I would like to hear from you, you guys figure it out with me, let Chris or myself know and I will put a group deal together !

Look forward to hearing from you !

Sincerely,

Rick Crist

Is he suggesting we can use Carbon fibre brakes and pads on say an NX? Because that would be sick! I mean sure there $300 a piece, but who doesn't have money to waste?
If I can get a set for my NX I would seriously want a set.
