Re: Par Gear Group Buy...cleared Up

Crown wheel <----final gear
1st gear
2nd gear
3rd gear
4th gear
5th gear
5th pinion<-----5th input gear(it goes on the input shaft)
Question: I assume when you refer to final gear above you are referring to the 'ring' gear that can be unbolted from the differential and not the 'pinion' gear that drives it. If it indeed is the 'ring' gear, shouldn't the mating 'pinion' gear be replaced as well? It HAS to if you are getting a different final drive, but it should anyway since you get the ring gear. I ask because it's not listed.

Thanks

Ok guys here's a fiche pic that I personally labeled(over 50 descriptions!) then colored in for h-o-u-r-s to try to help clear what you get exactly. I spoke with Carlos(93Blackbird) yesterday over the phone to confirm some things. What we get is in yellow. Carlos you owe me BIGTIME for this man!

P.S. A free Nismo or Kaaz LSD should square me and you up Carlos. hehe

Hey Carlos, what's the latest on this? I haven't received any email yet giving me a "set" price.

Are we still doing this? I'd like to have this done and installed before the SERCA convention in Nov.

Any updates would be great!

Sorry guys, but this group buy is dead. PAR basically screwed Carlos over as a being a potential vendor for the East Coast, therefore giving us a bad price.

It seems kinda strange too, especially now that JGY is selling them and has them in stock...for $2700 plus shipping. Coincidence...I think not.

Jesus, Carlos... those shoe prints on your back? They look suspiciously like they belong to JGY customs. The knife handle has their logo on it, also.

Too much friggin coincidence. Pretty crappy thing to do to someone. But, I guess if you want to succeed in business, it's ok to step on, over and through anyone you want.

Carlos, pm me and let me know what happened. This really sucks for the "suck".

Later,
Mark
