I'm trying to gauge interest in OEM ground replacement kits for the B13. One kit could be just an engine compartment ground kit, that would replace all engine bay grounds including the negative battery cable. Another possible kit would be for the entire car. All wiring would come with gold terminals on the end and the other end would need to be soldered and shrink wrapped to the existing ground wiring, or use a crimp style butt connector. Please let me know which kit you would be interested in, the whole car or just the engine bay. Target price for the kit has yet to be determined, but I'm hoping that the engine bay one would be abourd $50 and the whole car would be just under $100. But until I do the work to figure out all the grounds I won't know.
rob i know i've talked to about this kit before... and i would be interested if these kits come together... my question is.. you are talking about attaching the grounding wires to the existing grounds? do you mean splice it into the ground wire right near the sensor? I thought most often these kits just anchor themselves around the engine bay. Is there a reason for splicing in the grounding kit to existing grounds? I figure you are suggesting this for a reason. thanks and i hope to buy one of these soon.
i know. i can go make my own,.. hmm.. but this might be a better solution for my lazy ass..
so.. im interested.. and since my girl drives one too and just has to have everything i have.. i count as 2. :0)

Although, I talk to it and let her know that she is still my number 1
like i said in the other thread, mark me down as interested.

Maybe I'm just confused, but if I were replacing all the grounds, why would I need to connect to existing ground wiring? I thought all the wiring was going to be replaced.
I'd be interested in the engine bay grounds... I know you do very good work. It's got to be better than the welders wire I used to create my own negative battery ground. And I say I'm interested in the engine bay grounds because I have no idea what the rest entails... don't have or want an expensive sound system.
Peace,
Mark
