Re: ShortShifter GB, Courtesy, B&M long.

i got mine today, not installed yet i just put the shift knob on my car *** mine was all fallin apart, this thing is heavy !! which is a good thing *** it makes shifting so much smoother *** the weight kidna helps you throw your shifter into place. all in all i love the shift knob so far. this sunday ill install the short shifter prob.

Re: ShortShifter GB, Courtesy, B&M long.

You should email him and make sure he still has shifters left, before sending money..I talked to him last week and said his supply was low.
Thanks
Jon

Re: ShortShifter GB, Courtesy, B&M long.

i got the shifter in the car, and i got an energy suspension shifter bushing kit. the shift is real short, but very accurate, leaves out the sloppy feel of the OEM shifter, however at high RPM in 3rd and 4th theres a real annoying ass bUZZ. im not sure if its hitting the stablizer linkage or my VRS 3 inch exhaust but if i grab the shifter the noise will go away.

also when its buzzing i can visually see the gold ball joint twist and turn from the vibration.

did you end up using all 4 washers? i had the rattling problem wheni used 3 washers thinking the 4th couldnt fit. but then i made it fit after i got annoyed at the rattling. Now with the 4 washer in there i dont hear anymore rattling. I will look at the gold ball joint to see if it moves around.

Re: ShortShifter GB, Courtesy, B&M long.

These are pretty nice, I just got mine installed last night...the only driving I've done with it is about 40 mph for 5 minutes to work, but I'll take it on the highway after work and let you all know how mine is. I ended up using all 4 washers and the smaller tube inside the shifer. So far, great buy!
