The LOVELY S13... (*NOW WITH VID*)

I found this picture when playing with my cell phone. It is the only one I have right now, I'll post some good ones once I get my car back together.

I am just finishing up an S13 SR20DE in the bay after I lost my DET to a defective oil filter. I'll have lots to post here in the next few weeks. The pic is not photochopped... it is that low, front lip is barely 2 in off the ground.

What kind of hood lifters are you using?

It is a lift off hood... so I put bump stops from a WRX set of springs some guy had laying around over the rear hood pin bolt things and set the hood on those, then put the pins through the eye..

I took it to a friend of my dad's (a hot rod body guy, the kind that cuts 4 door wagons apart to make 2 door shorter wagons) to help with what materials to use and a little help on how to do it because I, A: wanted to do it myself, and B: wanted to learn to do it right. I am going to, some day, make a fiberglass hood so it does not weigh a ton. If anyone knows where I can get a fiberglass 280 hood that would be great. I can't find them anywhere!!! Otherwise I am stuck making my own.

No, it does not bolt up, I made the fenders from 280zx headlight cones and 240 fenters, the bumper is a 280zx aero bumper. After this weekend I will have some pictures of it from the front.

I have been saying I will get it running 'this weekend' for weeks. This time I will punch myself in the face if I don't start it this weekend because it will straight just be that I was lazy.

se_nismo: Thanks for the offer, but all I really need to do is weld up some exhaust pieces and put some hoses together. I am going to the junk yard to try and find a few small dinky pieces sometime but they are not required to make it run.

Here are some pics of the newly running, battle damaged mutt. All I need now is to put the radiator in and mock up some exhaust stuff and it is drivable... Yes, that is garden hose. Yes, that is a Dr. Pepper can. The end.

Forgot to mention, I don't have the spacers in so my wheels look all sunken in. I usually have a few 10mm spacers in there.
