NX got a new JDM upgrade!

Gotta thank Ryan for the Cusco bar he picked up for me. Its from a GTiR, but it fits on the NX perfectly...kinda. I had to ditch the cruise control piece on the firewall (not like I can use it on the VE anyway), and I had to unbolt the power steering line and somehow get the bar underneath it, but in the end I won! And now for the pics.

You can see the hard line coming off the power steering hose resting on the bar.

It's hard for me to tell in the pic, but does it actually bolt up to the firewall?

It doesn't bolt up to the firewall, the middle of it is the adjustment. It just goes back to the firewall so it clears the IC and intake manifold on the GTiR.

Nice bar, I have the same one. Yeah, you need to unbolt the PS line and wrange it a little, but it's in a snug place.

From looking at it on your car, think it would take much work to fab up a bracket to fix it to the firewall?

It looks good BTW. If it were fixed in three points, it would be something I'd considering ditching my FSTB for.

Is that the newest bar from Cusco? I have the old one, the oval shaft with the ridge on both sides with the signature Cusco blue ends. It just goes straight from one shock tower to the other. Hey Serban, do you live anywhere near Orlando? In October I will be moving to there to attend UTI and I want to meet as many Egg owners as possible down there.

I'm not sure how new this strut bar is, but its made for the GTiR, so you probably won't find it for sale in the states.

I am about 3 hours south of Orlando.

I really didn't try to compare strut bars yet, I have too much crap in my trunk I don't want flying around.

That battery is actually an Odessy, I had a Hawker and it died in 3 weeks, this one is a lot better. Ryan, I sell those batteries at Murray's we can probably send you one, but shipping might get pricey. The battery itself is $140.

USPS classifies Guam with the rest of the USA as far as shipping rates go...
Check UPS and see if they have USPS rates. Thank you.
