Gfs "new" B14

Hey all, just recently joined the forum...gf recently bought a 98 SE-R with only 45,000 miles and she's loving it. Just finished painting the wheels graphite, calipers red, black housing headlights, and intake last weekend after about a week of her owning the car. She will be ordering suspension stuff soon...other than springs/struts what else would you all recommend for improving ride comfort?

and my car

Check UPS and see if they have USPS rates. Thank you.

If she's going with a KYB/Hyperco setup, I'd get some Koni Bumpstops and Motivational rear strut mounts. She'll need some front & rear strut tower bars too

Yep RX7 wheels with no centercaps...15 lbs 16x8, good size/weight and very affordable.

Mainly y-pipe and intake, nothing special. More into handling, the cars fast enough to me.

ive been reading that the s-techs are too soft for b14s and coilovers are out of her price range...anyway she wouldnt be using them to their full potential. Mainly using it to commute to school ya know? How are the H&Rs? btw any mods on the 3rd gen?

Her car reaaaallly suprised me...its quick, much quicker than all the other 4 cylinders we test drove.

yea, i probly woulndt buy tein springs myself, but i like my cars slammed.
you could also look into the D2 coilovers, tehy are a bit more affordable than the Tein coils., ive never heard anything bad about H&R's and everyone loves hyperco's.

and yea i had a 92 SE a/t with the VE30DE engine. Place Racing CAI, and warpspeed y pipe, with a magnaflow. went 15.3@90
but the modding soon stopped, as i..
1) wanted a newer car, auto not that good for performance
2) like givin it to the Hondas
3) wayy more potential with the se-r

so yea, you guys should have alot of fun with her new car.
