My new pimpalicious Nissan.

Since we had the baby we got rid of the 2000 Civic HX (praise Jesus) and bought this 2002 Maxima. I have been looking for a little bit and couldn't find a clean one that wasn't $18,000. This one fit the bill perfect.

2002 Nissan Maxima SE with VQ3.5. Leather, heated seats and steering wheel, climate controlled AC/heat, 2 memory settings for different drivers, Bose 6 disc in dash changer, keyless entry, sunroof, hid's, cruise, etc etc etc. Tein Htech springs will be ordered real soon to get rid of the hideous fender gap.

Here are a few pics:

Jason, so this is the hot-rod you drive after breaking trannies huh?

Nice car. I always liked that body style. And I sure hope you never have to work on that thing. Look at how jam-packed that motor is!!

nice! glad you finally got her! If you get the teins, get the S-techs. the H-techs barely give a drop. I had the s-techs and they looked GREAT!

I am now on JICs so she is even lower!

Secure those headlights man, so that somebody doesn't take them from you.

I already have one car that rides like a tank. (The se-r) and I really wanted the Max to ride close to what it does now. This is why I was thinking of the Htechs. You don't think a 1.6" drop in the front and 1.0 rear drop will be noticeable??? While your car looks good I don't want the headache of a car that low for a daily driver, espeically when my woman will be driving it.

Pretty White, I am lazy and never reset it. Or Maybe I went into the future and took pics of a 2002 Maxima in 2000.

I'm digging the coordination of the yellow accents in the engine bay with that of the yellow pine tree air freshener.

i have seen the htechs and its not that noticeable IMO. Believe it or not, the JICs ride awesome! I just have to replace the blown front absorber I would look into the maxspeeds, and DO NOT get the Gr-2s. tokico makes some illuminas that they guys on the max board seem to like.

they are 18's...sorry, no before pic. the ride quality is not bad. its stiffer but still smooth. u wont scrape on anything but watch out for the abnormally high parking blocks. hehe. the h-techs are nice and probably be way better with some tokico illuminas. oh yah...the springs ARE really made of light weight material. one stock spring probaby weighs more than all four of the h-techs put together. just though i'de add that. alright good luck!
