first wash of the spring

Well, it's been couped up in the garage for almost 4 months now as I lost my license until June, but it was just too nice today to not pull her out, clean her up, and take her for a lil spin.

Enjoy the pics, comments are always welcome, by the way, the front usually sits lower, i raised it for inspection tomorrow, so it will come back down a bit after that

Lata on,

O

Yeah, between 4,000 and 4,500 RPM the engine just comes alive, well worth the 50 bucks i paid, just for the fun factor! I have no hard evidence or anything to prove it, but she definitely felt quicker.

sr20det808...well to make a long story short, i was comin home one night from my girls house, just cruising, it was 1 day after i found out my dad has cancer, so i had a lot on my mind, and well this sunfire full of kids started pissing with me, riding my bumper, flicking me off, gettin next to me and swerving at my car, things of this nature.

Well, i was already on edge from the news about my dad and i didn't feel like dealing with these kids, so i dropped it to third and took off, ended up passin a trooper that was hiding behind an overpass doin about 107.

The sunfire tried keeping up so the officer thought i was racing, but once i explained the story he cooled off a bit and ended up giving me a reckless driving fine which carries a 6 months suspension and 5 points in PA, and then he gave me a "driving at a safe speed" fine (how contradictory is that) basically just to make me pay more money. Total fines = $355.

On a side note........the officer was younger he said "nice car, and good driving, just take it to a track next time!!"

PS my car usually sits lower too

Boost may be in the future, i am having a tough time deciding between boosting the 200 or getting a WRX (the AWD would be a nice feature in my area)

Thanks for the compliments Spoon!
