a work in progress... NOT near complete.. but some photos anyway...

Here are some photos to give some visuals of what is happening (has happened).. It is still very much a work in progress!!!! (the intake was a 1st attempt and is being redesigned so a better looking unit will be in place instead)

That's a B14 gauge cluster right? What kind of radiator is that? What are your plans for the car?

YES, that gauge cluster is out of the 98 200sx SE-R we parted out.. which is where the SR20de came from as well as the ECU in the car right now... it fit right into the stock spot 100%

...that is a custom HOWE radiator

...plans are to get it up-to-snuff for NASA to race next season....

Looks awesome Chris. So did that car start its life as a E or XE? Any gains from that intake mani? Looks insane. As long as its functional. Keep us updated.

LOL.. it is 100% street legal... OBDI for 1994 (not OBDII)

...no need for all that extra JUNK on the intake manifold...

LOL.. is that what the comment is about? the lack of interior...

..the interior is forever gone... seats thrown away already... other pieces sold off.. and other pieces waiting for a buyer...

..and even though there are racing belts in there, there are still stock Nissan seat belts there for driver (and even passenger if we decide to put another seat in on that side)...

...so yes indeed, the car is still very much street legal and is currently parked on the street as well...

...the intake you see there is only the 1st attempt and is being redesigned.. and will end up looking totally different when replaced with the 2nd generation...

The car started out life as a very base model E (so only the 1.6, rear drum brakes, no power anything and no sunroof!!)

...the brakes were the 1st upgrade before the engine upgrade (infiniti G20 rear brakes with g20 rotors redrilled and AD22vf front brakes with Maxima master brake cylinder of course)

...had to change out to KYB shocks/struts since the stock E had no provision for sway bars from the factory.. added ADDCO rear sway bar and stock SE-R front sway bar...

..SR20de swap happened and then work on the cage....

NO tests done yet on the intake since it will be changed again.. ..should have run a baseline but forgot... ...ooops...
