B14 on seventeens..

Well today in 100 degree weather I decided to swap the rims on the Altima since it is damn close to being sold this week. Two+ hours later and ten tons of sweat dripped, got my results.Nuff talk, enjoy the pics after a fresh wash...

I love the look, the front is still a bit high but the rear looks hot.I am rubbing very slightly in the front, the very edge of the tire is rubbing the strut perch. It was a tight fit, maybe about 1/2 inch of space between the tire and strut perch.I may have to get wheel spacers or downgrade to a 205/40/17 tire size instead of the 215/45/17 I am running now.(offset +42)

I dont think the rubbing will hurt anything,it is very slight and looking at the mark,it doesnt happen often after I drove about 35 miles around town.Anyone know how much I threw off my speedo?

Next up after is JWT Popcharger and Hotshot header.I should have the money right after the Altima is gone. The rims only weigh 14.2 lbs ea,which is the only reason I went with the old rims instead of new ones.I needed more contact patch, def cannot chirp the tires like I did with the stock fifteens.

Thanks for viewing and any answers yall can give I would appreciate to my questions.

^I know,I know...

The 215/45/17 tires were already bought when the rims were on the Altima,so
I really have no choice right now.

I am not planning on messing with the suspension quite yet, want to get busy on the motor next.

Thanks.

Stock rims would look extremely better than those. Your car is really clean and looks brand new.

The rims are free, and lightweight for 17 X 7.5 at 14 lbs each.

Thats better than stock.

According to tire calculator,I should clock less miles and actually lowered my speedo.

SE-L looks good but, IMHO and as stated above already it needs to be lowered.

When you spedometer says 60, your doing 63. you are going 5% faster than speedo says.

205-40-17's are the correct size.

Uh, those rims are not 14 lbs, last I checked, Konig's website said they were around 17 lbs. I have four of them at home that I'll weigh after work. Tires are already off. I used to have these wheels on my 02 Camry.
