MauiG20 before the new MOTA!

Well fellas, the time is getting closer before the MauiG20 runs again (about time).

Much props to LanceSR20 whos is building the motor and the one and only SE-Rican for the strong support and help in the process.

As a quick update for the people who dont know, whats going in is a JDM roller rocker SR20 with the following:

-ARP Main Studs
-ARP Headstuds
-Cometic 87mm headgasket 0.030
-SR20DET pistons & rings 8:5:1 (new from Nissan)
-SR20VE N1 Oil pump (front cover), crank pulley, GTiR spacer, different oil pickup stick
-SR20DE Main beam girdle will be added to strengthen the bottom end a bit more (RR doesnt have one).

The stock rods will be used.

-USDM ECU with a full E-manage kit (ignition harness, RPM harness, boost harness).

As of now the car will be tuned at low boost 7.25 psi with the 36lb injectors as I break in the motor, and then most likely some HKS 60lb's will go in there. The setup might change a bit as well.

This is the old motor still in the car, I took the cams out which will go in the new motor (Thanks for the tips Lance & Rob)

Nice frontal shot

I fell in love with the no front bumper pictures

Yahnozha's BABK (Big ass brake kit)

Well fellas im going on vacation back to the islands to chill with CarlosSR & Rcer Ill be taking off this Saturday for a week.....sooo happy too.

what kinda ground clearance you got with those pipes? I don't think I have the room under my car for that, I would loose it on the first driveway. looks good (don't cut the bumper )

Perfect ground clearance, they are right above the crossmember height. The pipes are wayyy higher than the downpipe, and the downpipe is parallel to the crossmember. So as long as you dont hit your crossmember on dips, then I doubt youll be hitting the pipes. The bumper is WAYYYY lower than where the pipes are.
