im gonna paint my engine bay and everything in it and i need ideas

I did mine when I did my swap. I have better pictures of before and after at my house I could post up if you want, but here it is with the motor.






Lots of holes I bondoed over (Probably close to 80) then made some plates to cover the holes on the side.

I still have power steering. In the picture its a black line going down on the pass side... Now I have stainless steel braided lines.

hey b14 i like the no wires thing ... i tried to do it with the motor still in.(the grounding kit is too much so i recently took it out)i got no p/s,w/p,a/c.... hehe

All you need is a can of I think cherry red high temp spray paint and a can of clear coat and you are set. About three or four coats of the cherry red paint and three or four coats of the clear coat and BAMMMMMMMM!!! Looks good!!! lol...

I would say, if you dont use cruise control very much, take it out... it looks soooooo much better.

very nice engne bays
my valve cover is currently paited "mate red"
and i love how it looks
but im going to paint the engine bay and the block and everything gloss

and it wont look to good evrething shiny and the VC opac

NX- JDM SR20DE, S13 mani, S13 T25, S13 HKS Jpipe dumping in front of tranny, 1st gen DSM BOV, BB TMIC, OE prototype IM spacers, ported TB, Ported maf, HKS S13 Step one 264* intake cam, UR pulleys on crank and alternator, 12V water pump with adjustable voltage, No PS or AC,JWT mounts, JWT PP, 370cc inj, adj fpr, bb ecu, AGX, ST springs, M&T drag et 20x6x14, weight 2042, Brembo rotors, metal master pads, etc etc

G20, ghetto intake K&N panel, JDM highport intake cam, PS header port matched, timing advance, RSTB, Nitto NT 460, Brembo rotors and metal master pads, stereo stuff.
