It's a Maaco paint job, factory grey. What do you think?

KJ5 paint code? Car looks VERY nice. Makes me miss mine. Did a very nice job on piecing together the kit. Looks much better now that the car is painted. Ahhh, I wish I had your car.

Gorgeous!

Only things I would change would be ditching the scoop and possibly fiberglass, smooth, and paint the lip.

Thanks for the input. I got the hoodscoop because I didn't plan on going front mount, but then plans changed so now I'm stuck with it. I don't mind though because it's refreshing to finally have paint on the hood. It is a one stage paint with a 2 yr gloss warranty. It's usually under covered parking, so hopefully it last a bit longer.

If you are gonna keep the scoop, why not route your Intake filter back there?

I know exacly what air filter that is. It's an ebay special. Seriously man, ditch that thing. Not to be gay, but try sucking through it. You'll pass out trying. All that investment and no k&n? Do yourself a favor. Trust me.

How do I route my intake filter to the middle of the engine bay? The ebay filter is actually from JGY. I bought the fmic kit and it came with it. I didn't want to use it at first, but my K&N cone filter wouldn't fit. It didn't stop me from making over 280 hp though, so it's ok. And yes, it is a z31 scoop. Someday, I might get a carbon fiber hood, but I just spent so much lately on the paint job, coilovers, and the nice camera that took those pictures.
