I think you should go with 555cc at 4 bar. 2871R and a GTIR manifold would be nice, but how much power are you shooting for?
soryy will...lol

Nice to hear your still keeping it going. I'm in the same boat as you. I just need a few more things and I'll be ready to bolt everything up to the car. Unfortunately most of the extra money I get will be going towards maintenance. The p10 is in need of some loving..

no doubt, i hear ya. i did maintanance in november. 3 nights, in the dark, 40 degrees. trying to prep for a drive to VT and niagra falls. ball joints, tie rod ends, pass cv boot, drivr sd axle. all only to blow out the pass axle seal in the end. she has sat ever since. aw well, time to wake her up to a new heart. its like cryogenics winter, get it? haha im corney

if you could snag a few close up pics of how the coupler forms to the oval ic portion. i thought about just putting a round one on there and tightening it up but im not sure if that would seal enough..

yeah buddy....hey mike, funny you should post this pic. i was goona ask the forum a question, maybe you know the answer.

so between the DE head, DET block, and VVL hg....oh, and the arp head studs....would the torque specs for the head remain the same?

just learned i also need to compinsate torque for the the extension.

Good question. I know the specs will definitely be different because of the arp studs but I have heard conflicting info on it and I can't give you an answer. The head/block/Headgasket combo won't matter or make any difference in the torque sequence its all in the studs.

It has been covered here but I don't have a thread link for you.

ready to rock! just need to work out the bugs now!

oh, and start paintin some stuff

now, if i could only figure out how to remove the old rear main seal to install the new one???
