red B14 with some new goodies (mostly autox pics)

I haven't posted up pictures of my car for quite some so this has been overdue. Recently sold my 16x7.5 Kosei K1s (shown in the last picture) and picked up a set of 15x7 Volk CE28Ns for my new autocross wheels. Both transactions were done with Forum members. Some recently changes are a stromung catback, SSAutochrome header, kartboy exhaust hangers (not shown in muffler close-up as I just put them on yesterday), B&M short throw shifter, schroth harnesses, and a crack in the bottom of the front fascia + a dented condenser caused by highish speed collision with a hefty fox. Fox did not survive and there is still some fur in the front bumper if you look closely at the pictures. Please excuse the discontinuity in image dimensions.

Looking good! Why the change in wheel size?

Gawd I love AutoX season. I was 3rd FTD last weekend in my AS STi on the factory RE070's. I can't wait to AutoX my SE-R. Too bad I'll be in SM.

The volks are about 6lbs lighter a piece than the koseis plus I figured it would help to bring the mass in one inch closer to the center of mass, despite the half an inch loss in wheel width. These volks have RT215 205/50/15 azenis mounted on them, which have about 85% tread left, and they worked wonderfully yesterday so I don't have any qualms from the decrease in tread width.

Oh I agree whole heartedly. I don't really like the color of the volks but then again they are just my autocross wheels so aesthetics don't count for much there. The white matches with the numbers/class magnets, helmet, etc.

the fox went into the opening in my bumper and struck my condenser and then fell out so I never saw the aftermath but one of my friends who lives on that road saw it the next day and said it was really disgusting if that satisfies your morbid curiosity
