the chrome was peeling and flaking reaaaal bad. so i took one this evening and sanded the hell out of it for about 1.5 hours with 180 grit. then i primered, and sprayed flat black:
i still have to flip it over, and spray the inside of the rim black. i got rid of 98% of the blemishes from the peeling chrome. it is almost nearly impossible to spot.
