What do you think of my Bluebird Attesa?

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted much info about my bluebird, so here it is.

A 1991 Nissan Bluebird SSS Attesa Ltd
Its a 4wd turbo SR20DET, u13 model.

In the 14 months I've had it, i've fixed it right up, and added a bits & pieces.
eg:
- Nismo strut brace
- Rare factory front bumper lip (from series II attesa)
- Rare factory end caps (spats)
- Plug cover (thanks Rob!)
- Turbosmart dual stage boost controller
- SR20DE throttle body
- K&N pod filter
- 2.5" exhaust, RPS muffler
- Intelligent turbo timer
- Mongoose alarm
- New KYB struts
- Low king springs
+ a whole lot more.

So what do you think?

I think you need.

555cc injs
Z32 MAF
JWT ECU
JWT S4 cams
GTIR turbo
3 in exhaust
UR pullies

Thats good for a solid 310 WHP. I would be fast as hell.

Very nice car! I wish they would have brought them over, that would have been a nice used car to boot.

I agree

Does anyone know if one of these couple be imported into the US and registered legally? Or will they have to be modified for safety compliance like the Skyline?

I would think they can be legalized easier then a skyline. The issue with skylines were there were none in the US to base the crash test ratings off of. Since we already have the altimas, it shouldn't be as hard.

One question I have had for ages, and never got a definitive answer on, is why would it be so hard to do an SR swap on a US spec 93-97 Altima? Are the motor mount points completely different on the bluebirds with the SR compared to the Altima with the KA?

I dont understand why nissan doesnt sell any of there cars here i mean they dont even sell turbo'd cars really nemore they treat us like honda's i hate to say man i want a factory turbo'd nissan to come out and not look like total futuristic ass! If mazda and mitsubishi(kings of rebuilds) can come out with them then why cant nissan or why wont they at least over here.*rant over*
