strattons vc project and some good/funny pics...

stripped off the paint the other day. polished up the letters today, 2000 grit and 1500 grit wet sand paper and some mothers metal polish. masked off the letters and cut them out. polished up a spark plug cover i bought from ian also. the vc will be painted a similiar color to the dark weave on cf with a semi, sandi texture. i think this vc and cover will look amazing next to my pc'd high gloss silver heat shields and the bling tastic koyo.

2 pics of my dads kawisaki zx1200 its got some goodies

dont fall asleep in a nj college party after smoking bowls, drinking liqs and drinking buds. i forgot how much fun college was.

to be honest im not 100% pleased with the paint. love the color and finish but im not to big of a fan of the mettallic flakes. when i looked at in the store i didnt see any metallic flakes. i just thought it had a metalish apperance.

when i started spraying i nearly threw the can.

but like i said when i swap vc's ill do the other one up with a diff color.

thanks the comments guys.

Stratton, what are you going to use for a VC screw for the middle?

The reason I'm asking is because I was to do something for my VC also but the only thing I noticed was needed a longer screw in the middle to hold the plate in place. Did you find another way? Or did you find a screw?

If so could you please let me know. I would appreciate it. Thanx!
