Test fitment of the new wheels

Not much to see, but I'm excited... so thought I'd share . I'll post pictures once I get the 225/45/15 hoosiers mounted and some fenders pounded out some

The new track wheels. 15x7 Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 with a 30mm offset .

test fitment...

can't wait for the first rock to get caught between the caliper and wheel

Those wheels look excellent. Really nice spoke pattern and graphite color.

What's the weight on them? Pretty light?

Shawn - They weight in at 13lbs, I did have to sell a set of the ATS's to buy these though

Eric - Actually, the ATS wheels I had were a tighter fit, but I need the 30mm offset to help clear the struts in the rear

I love these wheels. Those miata pricks always showing them off. How much issue would 205/50/15 azenis have with that offset? I assume the bigger hoosiers rub but not the azenis. I've seen you run them before but not on the new ones. I missed you selling the ATS. Next time you sell anything motorsports related pm me first!!! The car doesn't look happy, whats wrong?
ps Have you had a rock get stuck? I bet it doesn't sound good.

Just wondering where you bought them from and who bored them out for you. I will eventually be getting a couple of sets for my race car and they seem a bit difficult to find. Thanks

Rex - I have azenis on my ATS wheels, they are a 35mm offset and with the AGX struts have about 1-2mm of strut clearance.

Russel - I went through Brian @ good-win-racing, he had a local shop do the boring for an extra $40.... these are hub centric

I still have one set with some 3 year old crusty azenis on them... you'd have to pry those from my dead cold hands if you wanted them . The other set I sold, so you'll have to fight the new owner over them

new wheels look HOT! the "team dynamics motorsport" on the side gives the wheels a very tuff and mean look. now i'd like to see what the car looks like with the 225s.

I had the TDR Pro Race 1's on my Evo for awhile. Just sold them and got something different though. I like them Monty, might have to get them in 18's for my car.

McCoy, I know the azenis work well with the 35 mm offset wheels. I'm wondering how the 30mm wheels with slightly larger Hoosiers are working? Are you rubbing the fender, what issues if any? If I start on the "black crack", I don't know if the 225 will be ok.

I won't know for sure until another week how well the hoosiers will fit. From my calculation I should be able to use a 7mm spacer in the rear to clear the struts and then roll and hammer out the rear fenders to help with any fender rubbing issues. I might raise the car back up another 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch to keep the hoosiers off the fenders if that does become an issue.

The biggest issues with the 225 hoosiers is that there .8" wider than a 225 toyo RA1 . I will eventually go to RA1's, but until I burn through the 3-4 sets of free hoosiers I have I need (want) to make these work . Those damn STI's and Evo's are eating me up in the tighter corners
