Cincinnati Cruising & Testing, Also Pre-Cinci Meet

Hey Guys,

A friend and I decided to take a test cruise a couple of evenings ago. We were going to a cruise in meet downtown but it started to rain and was real crappy outside so they cancelled it. On the way to it we decided to take a few short videos of beautiful Cincinnati... sorry they are so dark, it was like 11:30pm. I apologize if some of this is boring... we were bored...

Well we got there and there was an okay turn out... I couldn't get many good pictures because of the crappy lighting, but I did manage to catch a couple of S13's (one from the projectseven drifting crew around here w/ a DET, 180sx rear lights, and some other yummy mods) and another with sylvia front. I was talking with them for a while and I asked them to take some pics.

We only stayed for a little bit because it was getting kind of cold... and there werent many nissan's there. So I decided to get a little video of a test pull on the I-71 onramp... Nothing illegal, just seeing if she sounded healthy post swap. I kind of lost some traction because it was moist so I had to let off during one of the shifts

... but my friend J enjoyed it... He drives a 95 Max' Truck (which is what I like to call it). Nothing crazy... just some clean accelerating to 5 or 6k...

Cars look interesting, but I seems the pics don't do the cars justice.

Nobody was talkin' Nissan... Except me and a dude named Brady w/ the b15 Spec V. Everyone else was in their little cliques so I bounced

The black car with the Silvia (not Sylvia) front - is it a coupe or hatch? I've been hearing rumors of a Silvia'd coupe but never seen it.

Chad (project seven) is a pretty cool guy, did you meet him? There are a couple other nice cars in that crew, one S13 hatch with S15 front, one S14 totally gutted and very fast, also s15 front. All good guys though I've only talked with them a bit.

I'm hoping to meet you one of these days Ameen, keep coming to the meets and hopefully it'll happen.

definetely... I think they rescheduled for the 6th of March... Which is a Saturday I believe. Same spot... Right? I thought I saw a CRX like that... It was so damn dark though! The reason nobody saw my car was because they all parked around it... arggg. he he.. no love...

Oh and Kent! I'm sure well meet sometime... BTW, I think that the black s13 was a coupe. It wasn't super nice like yours, but I definetely like silvia lights. I'm not sure why I was spelling that with a 'y'... Could be the crack... Is the reason that they changed them to flip lights in the U.S. because of height restrictions? Both look good when done right...

You have to pay attention to Cincy Street Racing and Cincy Street Scene. Both are mostly high school drama sites but that's where meet and cruise-in information shows up.

Ameen, I think using the popup lights here in the US had more to do with getting one front end crash and DOT approved, rather than two. Just an economy thing on Nissan's part, though I could be wrong.

Meh, nonetheless... I like them both!!!

I know its a fat chance in hell, but later down the line I would like to purchase a 98 s14. That's my favorite 240 year... And I think I have been on a trend to purchase cars in the last of their making/prime...

Unfortunately, no I didn't go to the Lasalle Show... I honestly haven't been informed of much stuff going down in Ohio. For the longest time I have stayed away from doing car stuff mainly because I couldn't afford to keep my car looking good because of break-in's. Since my car is basically stock/clean and there's nothing to steal I'm just starting to get interested again.

There's some stuff at kilkare going down, like drifting and racing and other stuff like that, but its kind of far... and I wouldn't enjoy it if I went by myself, especially since I can't drift

They have stuff at edgewater and kilkare, like test & tune, but the last time I draggeed some of the people there treated me like crap. Seriously like CRAP! So I haven't gone since (that was 5 years ago with my Ford ***).
