You're trying to keep costs to a minimum right? Just a personal request, could you put up a price list when you're done with everything?

I'll update post 1 with prices!

UPDATE! Replaced the old crankshaft pulley since the UR one doesn't fit B13 GAs But at least my A/C works again!
Also replaced my stock rubber rear shift linkage bracket with a solid steel piece; not quite sure how much better it feels just yet (need to get back under there & retighten everything), but I mounted the shifter 3/4" lower! Now I've got an even shorter shifter! I'm lovin' it...

Ok, so here we go. You all know what the stock shifter looks like, so here's my first mod: 1.62" cut from the middle of the stock shaft:

And then mounted 3/4" lower than stock:

(Yes, I know my car is dirty. Mods first, then cleanup )

All told, 2.37" shorter than stock, and I think I could even go lower!! The reach isn't anywhere near uncomfortable and I love the sportier look & midly sportier feel! Now to just get rid of that fugly rubber accordian thing goin' on there...

And then there's the issue of what's left in my backseat...

My plans exactly for my B14. I'm keeping GA, staying NA, and plan to blow some cars out of the water while doing it.

Too old? Hells naw. 14 years old and still runnin' like a champ with no problems! Looks bad? Yeah... kinda, but thankfully looks have zero to do with performance! Once I get the latter taken care of, I'll get the former up to snuff! Right now I'm sitting at about "No go and no show," but hopefully she'll be up to at least a lil' bit of go soon!

Don't make me be diggin' up my back issue SCC articles now. Other folks must remember that project car.
It was a purple one iirc. Ill find it.

Go to www.sportcompactcarweb.com and go to project cars and you will see it.

Ive owned a ga16de b14 and absolutly hated every second I had to sit in that car. My suggestion is dont waste your time. Swap a sr20 in it and turn it into a sleeper.

I think if this is a tack car that it would do pretty damn good. I know of a guy in CT that spanked up on STi's at this one auto-x and he is still rocking the GA with all bolt on's except for cams. With full bolt ons and some cams then a little weight reduction, it could be a very nice track car.

As Brian Spillner would say "No faith" haha.

But seriously, My reason for doing it is to be different. Take, for example, just the other day at the auto store. I walk up to the counter with the conduit in my hands, pay for it, and the clerk is like, IS THAT AN SE-R?!? And I'm like no, It's just the SE, I'm just building it up to make people realize that the GA is just as capable. His reply was a disappointed "oh". What the point it is that it doesn't take an SE-R to get attention, nor speed. The GA will do what I want it to, and there's no real need to swap it out. Heck, then I can show some of you 2.0 boys what's up.

UPDATE! w00h00! AGX/CG setup is on the car! Had a slight problem with getting the jack out from underneath my car when I first lowered her back to the ground, but eventually got it. Tomorrow I get to tweak the ride height & AGX settings for primo handling! (And then get my wheels realigned ) Now all I need are some swaybars....

Are you serious? unless your boosted, the only thing you might blow off NA is a single cam ka, or a stock 91-93 honda civic.... Sorry guy, but you make it seem like the ga is some all mighty motor NA. Wes has proven it is something boosted, but NA its a pos.
