My other ride...stealthly family sedan

Sleepy the Black Mamba...now with 100% more stealth mode.

'05 STi, as of today it's wingless with a lockless trunk and badgeless. The funny thing is I got more looks in it today than normal. People pointing. Ricers with their eyes glued. Weird. Some 30's year old looking black guy in a work truck gets my attention at a stoplight...

Him: Where's the wing at?
Me: I got rid of it.
Him: Ah...nice.

I guess I'm not fooling anyone.

Definately one of the most understated STi's I've seen.

It's hard to be steathly with that huge "snorkle" sticking out of the hood.

looks hot!

is there not a subtle wing that makes it look good? I think the Impreza body needs a little "height" in the back to complete the side profile. A wing similar to the S204 special edition STi would look pretty nice, yeah?

It'd look retarded with an RS hood. Next you'll be telling him to put some sweet black 14" steelies on it, just to fool the rednecks who don't know sh*t about imports in the firstplace. You should have heard them at the track, getting all excited because on "street night" guys who trailer in 9 and 10 second drag cars are beating up on stock or lightly modified, daily driven imports. Americuh! fu*k yeah! Welcome to Nebraska, douchebag capital of Americuh! But I digress.

It looks nice because it's clean, I could give two sh*ts about being sleeper. Especially in a podunk town like this, your sleeper cover would last long enough to wax someone, then they're on the net telling everyone about your sleeper and it ceases to be a sleeper.

I'm not sure if it's the same one you're referring to but there is a very subtle OEM trunk lip we were looking at on the web last night and it would be perfect, but availability might be an issue and price may be overinflated.

Rob, I think you went a little overboard with the 14" steelies... c'mon, mang! Even us B13 boys want to sport the 15" B14 rims. maybe you're just a little flustered with your recent VE problems, so I'll let you digress

That small rear lip spoiler comes standard on the new 2007 STi Limited. Here's a pic...

i would agree with the fmic painted black. carbon fiber hood painted to match the car, though i would probably get one that wasn't OEM. i wouldn't want my 36.000 dollar STi being mistaken for a 2.5rs. negative ghost rider.
