hurricane ernesto ate my SER, 1.8 and sebring! update!

****even newer update!!!!****

yeah i put a new battery in my car since she wouldn't start anymore. and she starts up fine. now whenever i press on the gas she hesistates and stalls. i'll be in nuetral sitting there and it will do this. i'll start her right back up and if i press the gas she'll do it again. does this have something to do with my intake?

***update***

Well when i did start her up she started up fine then had a rough low erratic idle, spat out some water from the exhaust and then shut off. couldn't start her for a while. then changed the battery and she starts up again. only thing is she kind of has a erratic idle and then when i step on the gas it takes a while to respond. i went in reverse and it was fine. but going foward she doesn't respond quick and takes a while. for giggles i redlined her and she would redline then drop to about 3 rpms and then redline and do the same thing again. I know i should've looked it up but since i'm here maybe some one can help. thanks!

yeah the above pics are my car ( blk 92 ser) my wifes car (05 1.8) and my sebring (don't ask. it was a gift from my parents lol) are submerged in water. many may think it's not bad but i do. i've never experienced this before; having a car in a flood or any natural disaster. so when hurricane ernesto went through VA i was like it shouldnt be bad. yeah right here's the damage. looks like i'm going to do some major repairing.

They should be okay. You just about have a water tight seal around everything and the water doesn't look high enough to get into the cars other then maybe the door areas.

That sucks, just make sure to pull out your seats and carpet and let them dry for a couple days.

right off of lynnhaven and holland.

yeah i looked inside of it and the whole floor is completely soaked. a lot of restoration is in order. while the 05 sentra and the sebring are completely fine. no water inside at all. but i guess that's what to expect from a 14 year old car.

nope as far as the forecaster said it was going to be quick and rain a little. well it long and rained alot. the sebring and the 1.8 started up fine. my ser did then stopped after it shot all the water out. funny thing is. my ser had the most water yesterday now there's nothing but moisture vice the other cars are holding water like a lake. any ideas on how i can start her up again? the symptoms were the idling was erratic, and then it shut off and started buzzing at me. so what could that mean?

Is it turning over easily or sluggish to turn over? Anything else you can tell us?

kind of sluggish to start. like the fuel pump is out or something. b/c this month i've already had to replace 2 FI's so who knows? but she is idling rough and not responding fast enough when i press the gas.
