Thanks for posting pics of your tail lights. That's exactly what I wanted to do to my friend's newly bought S13. I was thinking black spray paint over the 240sx red plastic and candy apple red over the tails and the turn signals to make it look like a cheap version of the jdm kouki tails.

Yeah, did you clearcoat it also? BTW, his car has 4,000 miles on a rebuilt ka24e and when I tested it last night, I really liked how the car ran. But then, when I tried it again this evening, I felt something wrong. There is a grinding/farting sound (dont' know wheter its the transmission or exhaust) whenever I shifted and it feels to have lost some power. My friend doesn't really drive stick very well and he practiced on it all day, so maybe that could be the cause. He even let his younger brother drive, who is a worst manual driver drive the car. And they even let their other friend, who never drove stick before, drive the car today as well. Can 3 new stick learners really mess up a car in a few test runs that fast? Sorry to go off topic on your thread, but I'm worried about this car. I really wanted to help my friend with this project, but it seems at this rate, the car might break before he gets anything done to it.

thanx. yea i need some, but the ones i want are too expensive (TE37).

i have heard of cars fu*king up like that when people are learing how to drive stick. my friends civic got fu*ked up when he let his girlfriend practice. now at cetain rpm's when driving the clutch sounds likes its grinding. wierd. but idk.

the tails nope no clear coat. just the red paint. shines just like the real lights.

I love your car dude- extra clean!!! You pretty much have the exact set up Im looking for- I love 240 hatchbacks! Quick Question Im piecing together all my parts and goodies for my Red Top SR20DET motor. Im purchasing the Greddy Intake manifold, and already have the Greddy Cold pipe. Im purchasing the S13 hot pipe with Greddy Type RS blow off valve- but was wondering what size couplers am I going to need for the hot pipe? Im almost positive that they are supposed to be 2 inch- could you let me know? Also Im planning on running the S15 T28 turbo so would it make a difference? Thanks for the help dude- and bad ass car!

Thanks for your help dude! Yeah the hot pipe is exactly like the Greddy one and yours, only thing is it has the flange for the Greddy Type RS blow-off valve. Im also planning on getting the Greddy V-spec Front mount intercooler setup. Thanks for your help dude- again car rocks!

P.S. you should go to 240sxmotoring.com, phase2motortrend.com or enjukuracing.com- they are the SR20DET authorities- but your probably familiar with them. Thanks again dude!
