lol, changed my oil pan this is why!

yeah so i finally decided to change my oil pan,

wow.. you *** you could have just flaten that out....i took a block of flat wood and a hammer and that worked like a charm... you shoudl save that one and see if you can make it straight.....

mine looks like that but i put it back on and its holding oil fine. lol.

Be careful if the dent is in the wrong place it will block off the oil pickup and starve the motor..

I own four SR20DE oil pans and all of them had been smashed in a similar way in varying degrees. One last weekend.

One very important nugget of information that every new SR20 driver should know is that the big rectangle on the bottom of the pan is where the oil pickup sits. If that part is the least bent, take the pan off immediately and fix it.
