My $500 project ( s13 )

I've wanted a 240 since I've been 16... now im 19 and I got one ... my 200sx is going to be the daily driver, a fun one I might add... and the 240 is a weekend and track car.. drift and autocross...

I'm sure a few of you remember around december 06 when I posted pics of a 240.. and wasn't sure whether or not I should buy it... well I bought it around Christmas time... no rust except a LITTLE bit underneath by rear driver side tire.. easy fix.. just surface rust..

When I bought her...

I took the fenders off and pounded out the dents/ bondoed... no pics of those though.

Motor = dead... so a buddy helped me pull it.. both of us having no experience besides doing bolt ons for a few cars..heres goes nothing...

Figured since its not a daily driver... might as well loose some weight ( car already came factory with no power windows, locks, no sunroof, no airbags).. oh and that steelers bear hanging from the front was won with a lucky one dollar at the arcade ( 652 ticket jackpot )

Here is what we pulled..my friend Chris to the right..

And last but not least, the pic you can't forget when pulling a motor...Thats me, and my 200sx se-r in the backround.

Plans: new KA, intake, header, exhaust, Stance coilovers, used wheels and tires... gonna have to wait till summer though since I'm in college and already have a job here at school to pay for school loans.

Looks great! The 240 I bought to work on as a project has a lot of rust.. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or not ... That 240 is looking fairly nice for a 93 though! Are you planning on dropping a turbo motor in it eventually? I'd drop a KA in it and skip the NA mods and go straight to turbo KA

Just for future reference to make your life easier on the install, push the ecu harness out from inside the cabin and install all the clips on the sensors before you throw the motor in the car again. It will save your hands and arms from all kinds of scrapes, not to mention the time you will save.

Looks like a good project car
