The new daily driver. 98 SE w/ DET *PICS*

I bought this SE because I am going to sell our 02 Maxima and have a lot smaller car payment and better gas mileage/insurance until my wife graduates later this year. The Maxima is nice and all but this switch has to be made so we can buy a 04+ Pathfinder. Sacrifices must be made. I am trying to convert this car form the current 17 psi it runs into a quiet and easy to drive 7psi DEt setup with quiet exhaust for the wife and kids.

Here's our Maxima.......It will be missed that's for sure.

Here is the cheap alternative to the Maxima for the next little while.

Last but not least...........The "Money Shots"

Here are a list of mods that I know from what the previous owner told me and had listed when it was for sale:
T28 with larger internals on JGY manifold
370cc injectors
Bored MAF
4-bar JWT ecu
Apexi AVCR boost controller
JWT S3 cams.
Lightened flywheel
ACT HD cluth
Viscous LSD
Nismo FPR
D2 coilovers
Front and Rear ST swaybars.
Custom front and rear strut tower braces.
New Hankook R-S2 Z212 (only one track day on them)
BBS RK 16in wheels
Stillen front lip (cracked)
Dual core radiator and Nismo radiator cap
NX front brake upgrade with Carbotech XP9 brake pads
Stainless steel brake lines
Unorthodox underdrive pullies
Fully functioning A/C
Greddy catch can
Custom cold air intake
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Very large XS engineering FMIC

Not bad..........Any suggestions on how to make this car quieter and user friendly would be great. I am thinking of some undercoating, Dynamat (or something like it), and running a 02+Max or B15 SE muffler to start the quiet process. The Alpine tape deack will be removed and a nice CD deck is going in soon with amps and a small sub. These BBS wheels are going ton my 94 Se-r and the B14 se-r wheels are going on the SE.

What's funny to me is that this SE with the DET and T28 is my slow car.

My 94 will own it.

If I were you I would just run a 3' exhaust with a nice resonator and a good muffler off of something 3' made new today... In other words a short muffler off a diesel or something. I think with a good cleanup it will be a nice car!

And your daily driver would own my fast car. :sigh: Looks nice.

I like the SE-L tails with the red center bar. I was thinking about doing that to mine.

great looking sentra. I think that some black housed crystal clears would set the front end off alot better.
