Show me some slammed SE-R's!!!

I know that lowering one's car beyond the optimum performance height is looked down on a bit around here, but I want to see some slammed SE-R's anyway!

So, if you really are low then post up a pic.

I'll start it off with a couple of really crappy pics of my old SE-R ... the pics suck but you can still see the rear tires tucking.

I'm sorry but really slammed B13s don't look good to me because I cringe when I think about the ride.

Post em up anyways!

For one reason or another it seems like this camp isn't too fond of slamming it down, but that's cool ... everyone's got their opinion.

Here's to hoping that some dumped SE-R's get posted soon.

Because it's stupid.

Because our cars have limited suspension travel to begin with.

Because having a car that looks 'kewl' but handles like ass is dumb.

And finally - because it's stupid.

It is not an "opinion." What Chriscar states is an unequivocal fact.

This will tell you why it is a fact, not an opinion.

"Slamming" a B13 is nothing but a rice-drop.

Please post up so I can have a good laugh.

I wasn't confused as to why people like you hate slammed cars ... "one reason or another" was meant to take the place listing out the reasons ... but it obviously failed in it's purpose since you felt the need to do it anyway.

If you don't like it ... cool. No one's asking you to start. Not sure I understand the need to interject negatively, but whatever floats your boat, I guess.

Why don't the people saying slammed cars are pointless start a thread in the Off Topic section of the forum. He didn't start this thread to hear your opinions.

You're trying to argue a point that nobody made ...
I never argued that lowering a B13 a lot was good for handling or ride quality (show me where I did and you get a cookie).

So the short of it is this ...

Fact = over lowering a B13 makes them handle poorly and gives the ride a poor quality.
Opinion = weather or not you like the look of slammed cars.

Argue it from whatever angle you want, but if you take a second's pause to re-read my post you won't find me arguing suspension geometry, ride quality, or even mentioning the chassic code B13 ...

Thanks for taking this thread back off topic though.

Your post is encouraging anyone who is ignorant to think that "slamming" a B13 is a kewl thing to do. It is not, it's rather stupid.

If you know the reasons why you should not slam a B13 and you do so anyways...then that is a ricer modification. Aesthetics over performance FTL.

That is why Chris and I both posted.

Please, by all means post up your "slammed" B13. I need a good chuckle.

I'm done, enjoy the pics.

It's not encouraging anyone to do anything ... except post up pictures of their slammed cars.

God forbid that someone think that the look of a slammed car is attractive. If that kind of thinking gets too out of control we might just end up with ... well ... people who disagree with you guys. And we couldn't have that.

Good thing you covered all the buzz words though ... "kewl" ... "ricer" ...

the ride feels sh*tty, shocks blow, bushing etc blow.... not worth it..

only way to do it is new bushing all around polyurethane, solid mounts, kyb agx,h & r springs 2 inch drop... an prey your oil pan doesnt get destroyed.

your bump stops are toast as well.. if you just drop the car on the shocks .... no springs..
