Yeah, I liked them to, all most as much as the RP-F1, and for the price it was stupid not to get them. I liked the size/offset/weight of these over the 5zigens too, so it was a no brainer.

Nothing to hide here... I'm in Eastern Washington where you don't need to smog vehicles. The pros of living in a small town in the middle of no where... now California, that's a different story.

More juiciness....

Got the spherical bearings installed in the Z32 uprights earlier this week.

What arrived yesterday...

progress adapter barely fit, I was getting alittle concerned here, but all went well.

My mix of adjustable arms and spherical bearings in the upright I couldn't resist bolting it all together even though I have to pull it back apart tonight

I used the impact and really don't think it will go much more than this, as is. I'll need to add a large washer under that top nut as to not dig into the aluminum upright like it was doing last night and hit it a few more times to pull that king pin up farther.

Z32 brake master cylinder installed... I've only been sitting on it for 2 years now.

Also switched up to Richards V3 housings... they give more suspension travel and additional camber over my past housings. Also decided to go with the Voshlag tophats this time since the G20 rubber tophats were ripping.

All the parts, some new and some reused...

thrown together...

The Voshlag tophats. They have a sealed double-row needle thorington bearing built into them and are built for an E36 BMW... glad they work with my setup too

I slotted the upper strut hole an extra 1.5mm to gain back some tire clearance at a loss of some of my newfound camber. If I can hit just over 2 degrees of camber I'll be happy.

Tire/coilover fitment.

This is with 255 RA-1's stuffed under the fenders. I can probably get it another 1/4" lower, which I'll try tomorrow.

Is the fitment picture in the front or back?
It looks like you may be in need of a spacer or a bigger one.
Looks good!

Rears got tons of room... that's the front picture and should be enough clearance as I've run about that much all last year. Even if there was contact, nothing bad would happen.

The car's to the point it will start tonight... did a lot of little maintaince and repairs that needed to happen this year. So far in the past 4 days...

-Replaced broken IC mount
-Replaced failing ISSPRO water/oil temp sensors
-Replaced fuel filter
-Oil change, switched up from Mobil1 to Shell Rotella 5w-40.
-Added the fan shroud that's been sitting on my shelf for two years
-Switched over to the silicone radiator hoses
-new heat shielding for oil line and BMC.

Finally broke down and purchased some locking nuts from Mcmaster for the 02 housing... no more loose 02 housing!!! Also switched to a different heat shielding from Mcmaster too, the old one was falling apart from the 4 years of use.

All buttoned up. Battery is charging right now, so I'll start her up tonight and see if I forgot anything on the test run.

Next on the list is to set final ride height, pull the camber plates back out to modify for additional camber, and get the alignment this Saturday morning.

T-minus 7 days to my first track day of the year

I got another motor in the garage with a red VC

As for last night... set the timing, zip tied a few things down in the engine bay, and set the ride height. Car drives fine... so I'll give a good run tomorrow in the day time with tools and the cell phone with me!

Needs a good washing still... but here she is ready to go.

Decided to get creative and find alittle more camber up front...

Tein camber plates unmolested by my file/dremel.

How much I took off...

And now... I think that's good for another 1/2 degree of camber.

Also, ran a compression test last night, results weren't that good.

Nice work on the camber plates.

Too bad about the compression. At least you have a spare motor. That's well below spec no?

First track day down, updates can be found here, along with all future track updates for 2009.

Ordered up a set of H&R 10mm hubcentric spacers and some aluminum hubcentric rings, might as well make sure I have all aspects of 'safety' covered.

Final ride height and the first wash since last October . These we're last years track wheels, now the street/wet track day setup.

T-minus 10 days before the next track day in wonderful Grass Valley, OR

Another track day down, this time at Oregon Raceway Parks new race track in Grass Valley, OR.

Track writeup can be found here.

It's time to tear the old DE out and start the DET install. I'll be switching up to the log manifold with the T3/T04E turbo too. The oil cooler is going to be installed at the same time. Got 26 days before the next track day

Getting ready to pull the DE.

Redtop DET is getting some new rod bearings, and a few new gaskets.

For now I'm going to throw in a setup that doesn't require to much fabricating... I found this on another forum and it arrived today .

GT2876R .64 A/R with the internal W/G welded shut. Shaft play is next to none and feels like it should. Wheels all look to be in good condition. All in all I'm happy with my new toy.

Stock manifold with a Tial 38mm WG.

Weld looks to be good.

What the seller described as Taka lines... if they are they are really old one's. Also, the oil feed seems to not be complete, should have a oil restrictor and 2nd part to the line to make it to the block.

Intake.

dump pipe and some unknown 02 housing.

Cool setup. The oil drain looks like it might be kinked?

The lines look nice but home made. If they are old you might want to install new hose on the ends or just duplicate them entirely for safety. I hate it when you get stoked for something and what shows up is not as described. Remember that "T28" I bought 2 years ago?

I have some misc. lines and ends so if you need stuff hit me up. I owe you from the last 2-3 times.

Thanks Ben, I'm going to be mocking this setup on the motor today to see what needs to be done. The lines still very soft and pliable still. The oil feed is not complete so might need to purchase or just reuse some of what I have laying around. The water lines I think are fine, but I'll know soon enough.

Very nice! The GT2876R with the EWG should be pure evil, and with your attention to suspension upgrades you should be able to take full advantage.

Are you going to go ahead and swap the motor with the new setup?

Wider rear tires might be needed too

Yep, waiting on a shipment of misc parts/gaskets from Gspec as I type . Spent an hour today cleaning parts and will degrease the block and swap rod bearing tomorrow.

Did a little test fitting last night.

Waterline to the block was a perfect fit. The oil line is short, as I thought.

The motor mount bracket needs to be (and was done today) grinded down just a little bit for the compressor housing to clear.

Doesn't look I'll be using the stock oil seperator, seeing as how the dump pipe will interfere with it's location
