Monty make sure yourr timing is ok after the cam install Crazy northerners taking the ac out of all their cars, I can tell you the drive home from autoxing July 4th was not the best drive I have ever had driving your old Sentra with no ac.

Why no, no I didn't check timing yet. I just did get back from a little cruise and the car feels really good up to 7K RPM, much better than I thought it would do. I do love my JWT cams

You just got to be a man and sweat it out

I'm sorry I didn't copy everyone else's setup. If you need a preacher to tell you what mods to put on your car, the Reverend Veilside180sx might have a suggestion.
Finally got the gauges installed... with the exception of the oil temp gauge being a place holder till I get the new oil pan installed that has the temp sensor installed in it .
Center vent removed and wiring already ran... I actually had to use a screwdriver to bust out the center vent, that wasn't how I wanted it to happen.
Gauges installed... the mount came from Ebay, around $22 shipped, and is a snug fit in the vent opening. It came as a raw aluminum finish, I used a couple shots of rustolium flat black earlier today. I still need to find a way to secure the panel though, either some type of double-sided tape or a few dabs of silicone.
With no flash... I really love how these gauges match the stock gauges so well
Looking good Monty. I had a vent-mount but ended up being REALLY annoyed that I wasn't getting airflow out of the other vents, so I went to an A-pillar pod...

Do you have AC? I found that I wasn't even using the center vent and since the AC went, it was a no brainer to mount the gauges there in my situation.

Did you leave the vent open? You ma want to block it off as you will then get greater pressure out of the other vents. You will also not be blasting hot or cold air on the back of the gauges measuring temp.
I blocked mine off and the other vents really crank as a result!
Looks really good! Not an easy mounting solution though.... That lip is not large enough to rivet or screw through is it?

I will take your advice and block it next time I go in to hook up the oil temp gauge to the sensor.

agreed. So far I think I'm ok... I went to pull the gauge panel this morning to use some double-sided tape to secure it and found that I couldn't remove it. Looks like the paint was not fully cured when I put the panel in there last night
