Winter project almost done... teaser pic (got something up my sleeves!)

This will be the only picture until the project is finished, so don't ask for any. I used a cell phone camera on purpose.

Notice anything particular about this setup? I believe it's an sr20forum first.

Full thread with pics and videos to come, stay tuned...

Of course I do! I took the pic with a cell phone camera on purpose. I am not one to skimp out on photograph equipment. My first camera that I bought was a Konica Minolta Maxxium 5d.

In this case, it was 90% camera, 10% photographer. This project should be interesting.

I had a VVL for my 4 door B13...decided at the last minute to switch to a UK 10:1 since it was going to be my road race car. (then bagged the whole thing and got my B14...haha)

I took it for a spin around the block today with no hood on and no interior. Time to get those back on.

All I can say is this little four door makes my NX feel as fast as Rosie O'Donnell on an 80cc dirt bike.

Watch out Maine honduh population.

Alright guys, just a heads up for you all.

As much as I love this car with all my heart, I need another project to work on. I will always have a soft spot for these little guys, and plan to keep a spot in my driveway open for another.

I am currently in Florida for the summer, and the abundance of inexpensive, great condition 240sxs is too much for me. After buying into the B13s I have realized exactly how much I want RWD. I was going to go with the AE86, but they are so rare, overpriced, and the rear ends suck/are impossible to replace. I also wanted to stick with the SR20 platform, since I love this motor and it's capabilities so much. I also want the ability to switch up to an LS series motor, so I can run side by side with my dad.

That being said, Dudeman258 is helping me out by taking several pictures and videos, and will be posting up a For Sale thread pretty soon.

Just to quickly outline what I have done to the car currently... (I wanted to keep it a secret, secrets are more fun anyway, aren't they?)

MIKO SR20VE, all oil changes done every 2.5 - 3k miles with 5w30 Mobile 1.
This motor has NEVER heated up past 190*f. I drove this thing with a very accurate VDO water temp gauge until recently, when I switched to using a laptop and Consult.

JWT intake
Pacesetter header
2.5" test pipe fitted into Cat housing (sleeper/stock)

Currently the GA exhaust "cat" back, but I have 3" midpipe with a DSM axle back flange, and a 2.5" exhaust that Fred and I were going to use to make the sleeperist exhaust ever (imagine GA tip coming out the back with a hidden 2.5" side exit near the pass rear wheel. more details on that if you PM me)

JWT pressure plate, 2000 SE disc, Fidanza 8.5" flywheel all installed BRAND NEW at the same time. (approx 10k miles on all three, sh*t still grabs like it was just broken in)

NX2k front and rear brakes
NX2k radiator
NX2k wheels
Azenis RT-615s, two tires are getting bald (VTAAK + autocross) and probably won't pass inspection, but trust me, when these tires get low they grip way better than new. The other pair is fine with maybe 75% tread remaining.

300/200 Ground Controls
15,000 mile AGXs with lower spring perch mod (see signature)

Calum standard daughterboard + consult interface (VE inj, DE maf, 3 bar)

Fan relay mod hooked up to A/C switch (very sleeper/stock)
1991 NX2000 Gauge cluster
-air bag light hooked up to radiator fan relay (turns on whenever the fan is on, not just when you hit the override switch)
Silverstar headlight bulbs (OH BOY ) with GE nighthawk rear bulbs, and brand new silvania side marker lights.

NX2000 drivers seat installed with automatic belt installed.
NX2000 pass seat not installed but will be included with sale
Both NX seats have the NX seat rails attached to them. If you want the XE seats/seat rails you may have them if you pull them yourself.
Rear SE-R seat, as well as the stock XE rear seat.

We haven't picked an asking price yet, but keep on the lookout for this thing. It's badass. I raped on an STi with upped boost on the LEGAL RACEWAY IN NEW HAMPSHIRE BECAUSE WE DONT STREET RACE ON THIS FORUM.

Thanks guys, I'll be staying here on sr20forum. I don't like Zilvia / Fresh Alloy, they are assholes. :P

Edit: Forgot to mention. When I bought this car it had 08 Arizona plates on it. The exhaust was stock from the factory, and I removed the nuts on it with an open wrench. needless to say there is zero rust on this car. I have never used any PB on any of the bolts. The rear bitch pins that connect the lower control arms to the hub slid right out.
