The other bimmer got a bath...

So i did the three step detail on ‘Rolf’ last year (cleaner, glaze and wax), but never took any pics.
Then came winter.
Decided to do a full rinse to get all the salt off, a careful wash......what the heck, throw on some wax.

OK so it’s dark out, lets try and find some better lighting.

OEM 16inch soft spokes wrapped in Kumho summer rubber, Supersprint 'street' cat-back, Koni adjustables, a K&N panel and a few assorted ///M bits.

Oh and Lexol’s VinyleX simply rocks.

Still working up some daylight body shots, but here’s a teaser from inside.

Yeah it is odd, sorta like a Sentra E.....w/ a SR20.
Color keyed bumpers are hit or miss early on, somewhere mid series the side sill trim all went body color too.
There is a chance my bumpers were replaced at some point, the original radiator had a V pushed in and the under tray has a chunk missing.
I suppose it beats painted bumpers that're all scratched up, gouged and faded.

The car is a bit of a stripper in other ways too, cloth upholstery, manual seats, heck even the steering wheel and shifter were plastic. *grin*
At least the seats were heated.......oh and it has the straight six, that's what matters. This is one sweet engine, smooth as silk and quite the 'ripper' up top. Need to get it chipped, the extra 1000rpm of headroom nets a few HP. The fuel cut hits just a little too early.

Ok, time to finish working up the outside shots.
Thanks for the props.
