Thanks. The SE-R is slowly being restored. I had to have the door jambs re-done. Cut out all the bad metal and weld in new sheet patches. Rocker panels same deal. After replacing the MAF and struts and brakes etc. etc. it is beginning to feel more and more like the SE-Rs I remember way back when they were newer. A labor of love I guess. Thanks to all on the forum for all the help they gave me so far. This is a great buch of people!
Thanks for the replies guys. Turbo711, The Z does have an "old school" BRE type front spoiler fit to it, to go along with the paint theme. The bumpers do weigh alot. Only thing is I almost like having the 5 mph crash bumpers on it due to the fact it gets driven on the street alot. Urbaneracerone, 510s are awesome. How about a BRE paint scheme like my Z with a nice DET in it?
This one is fast enough to scare me (or get my licence taken away forever). A guy I used to work with has a ratty rusty 280z with a beautiful corvette motor in it! It even has the original ugly hubcaps. Talk about a sleeper! (His car is way too fast for the stock brakes though)
