Pics of the Newly Finished Racecar

(Updated Pics at Bottom)

Decided to build a dedicated roadrace car, based on SCCA ITA spec, but I'll run it in NASA PTE as well as the occassional autocross. Just finished painting it this weekend, still needs to be wet sanded and buffed to look decent.
Here's a mod list:

-JWT POP Charger Intake
-OBX Header
-Greddy SP Exhaust
-Koyo Radiator
-Exedy Clutch
-KSport Kontrol Pro Coilovers
-Progress Rear Swaybar
-Earl's SS Brake Lines
-EBC Greenstuff (AutoX) Carbotech XP10 (Roadcourse)
-15x7 Konig Kolor w/225/45/15 Hoosiers
-ARP 3" studs, spacers in rear
-6Pt cage w/NASCAR Doorbars by MillerFab
-Momo Start Seat
-Crow Camlock 6Pt harness
-Master powerswitch, windownet, etc.

There's definitely some room for improvement in the performance category (better dampers, crank pulley, ecu, etc.) but I think it will be fun for this year. If anybody is in the Ohio area, I'm planning on being at an autocross at OSU this Sunday, and the NASA Mid-Ohio event on 4/21-22.

Great look. Street car outside, all business inside.

When does the license plate come off and the graphics package go on?

I've got minor graphics planned for now, just numbers, classes and manufacturer stickers. I picked a "brilliant blue", we'll see how it looks. I'll try to post some pics this weekend when I get them on.

Correct! Can't use hood pins on the trunk because of the spoiler, so I got those from www.hrpworld.com I removed all the stock latches, locks, etc.

Money shot is pretty weak looking right now, needs to be cleaned thoroughly. I've thrown a rod in this engine bay before (with fire!) and lost a CV so it's nasty. Maybe this weekend...

Here's some updated pics I took today. Installed the airdamn, numbers, etc. All ready to go to Mid-Ohio for NASA this weekend, first race with the car. So I take it for a shakedown around town, and what's that I hear? Oh, that's 3rd gear going out.... Luckily I have a spare trans, but time is going to be tight. Anyway, here's the pics:

love the car. as much as i understand the need to put crazy vinyl on race cars, its nice to see ones that are clean and simple. looks great!

did u route the neoprene hose from the 2 bumper holes to your brakes? im going to do this and was curious where/how u attached them. also, what size/length did u buy?

Here's some new pics from a race last weekend. She held up fairly well although the front lip got busted up a bit (time for version2).

what studs are those? are they the ARP GM studs? also what tire size and off set you running?

im looking to run a 215 wide tire in the near future but not really in the mood to buy expencive low offset wheels. im getting some VW meshies soon with a 35 offset.
