JDM P10

Hi, this is my 93 Jap import P10, my Mum owned it for 8 years and when she upgraded to a 98 U14 SR20 Bluebird i brought it off her for $500. It hasn't been doing much for the last 6 months, but i have done a couple of track days in it, just making a few mods to it and seeing how things go next meeting, its very educational. I managed to drop 4 seconds a lap with the stripped interior and race seat, mostly because i wasn't sliding out of the seat ! lol

So far
Stripped interior, race seat and 5 point harness (who needs it anyway ? stuffs just a fire hazard)
Lightened flywheel and heavy clutch (cause the clutch would slip for 6-7 seconds on full throttle take off!)
New King springs and good wheel alignment.
Race compouund brake pads in front.
Side piped exhaust with 3 resignators (2 was too loud, but the 3rd cost a LOT of power!) and factory headders
M's K&N pod filter and cold air intake.
Race fuel and heaps of ignition advance
JDM TE front bumper and side skirts (i have the clear corner lights in it now too)

Just lowered and back on the road.

Note side pipe

Race day a while ago, i think this pic was stock bar seats and spare removed

Cold air intake

Dirty old SR 208000Km Pod filter.

Stripped interior and seat

To do list
15 inch Skyline rims and Toyo semi slicks (urgent ! man i need better tyres)
Lsd Box (got 3 lying around, just need to get around to it )
Cams and more compression.
Decent 2.5 inch exhaust (not one thats made up of 3 old hacked up ones lol)
Half cage.

Its no show pony and the paints fudged in places but it's a good car and i still use it for road use, but i don't want to go spending big money on it or making it undriveable as its just someting to learn in and get some track time in before my other car is ready. got another meeting in 2 weeks, so will be good to get it out again and see how it goes.

Our latest SR powered car, GTI-R we brought for parts.

Cy

love the p10, but you shouldnt mount your harness like that, i believe that if you get in an accident it will pull down on your shoulders and compress your spine if there not mounted at shoulder hight.

I understand what you mean about the harnesses, but its done to local Motorsport Regs (no more than 45 degree angle) but yea i will mount them to the half cage when it goes in.
