My B13 (first car)

To start off i love my car, and today i have finally decided to start posting even *** i dont post much and to get some input. I am new at posting here but ive bin a member and i have been veiwing all the threads. I took off the V/C to paint it today after veiwing your cars and V/C's. It's a 1992 4 door BEAST!! There are only slights mods on this car, no performance mods yet. The only mods i have are, gauge cluster lights(indigo blue), along with the shifter light( also indigo blue). And clear sidemarkers. Soon to have red V/C and red calipers. Here are some pictures for you guys ***. Any and all input i will love. I shall call this "Project Vtekilla". Say that slowly if you dont get it lmaoo.

Well, i use to love Vtec engines and i live in Glendale, CA. But i started to dislike them due to everyones love for them. Its too played out here and they are all riced to da max. They beleive in V-tec engines as god so i decided to name my project Vtec Killer hoping to one day rock all these ricers here.

haha nice bong.

if you want to be a "v-tekilla", you should get performance mods before that new VC and red calipers. i would suggest first intake, header+exhaust. Then maybe some advanced timing.

the ga16de with an auto-tragic is not that quick btw. but it can be zippy enough to cruise around in town with some basic bolt-ons. dont expect to burn hondas with v-tek

well your not going to get very far with an automatic, but if u just swap the tranny and keep the ga16 there fun and reliable cars, deffintaly not as fun as an sr, but they still have a little kick, right now mine has intake exhaust and advanced timing and its a pretty fun car, its getting a t25 thown onto it once i get like 400 more bucks though, then ill be set...

Well my plans are prety big. lol, srry to give a wrong impression. If i stick to me plans and start to empty my pockets i am going to swap the GA16DE for a Sr20 bluebird. As far as the tranny...if you ask me, its a waste of time and money to fool around with an auto. It is definitly ***** be swapped to a manual. That is actually the first thing on my llist.

If you're bored and are willing to spend some time for some free ghetto mods, try some weight reduction in the car. Remove all the junk in the trunk, including spare tire. Then remove the rear seats, and remove the passenger seat. Did this in our NX1600 this weekend and the car "felt" a little quicker. And if you're overweight, try losing some pounds. Trust me, it makes a difference (90 pounds of weight reduction off this b13 driver). Then you can remove the A/C to free up a little HP and weight. Maybe, take out the bottom of the air filter box and ziptie the filter to the top AKA airbox mod Um...what else? Ahh yes. When launching with your car, have at least 3 friends give ur car a push.

Looks like a nice shell to start on. I wouldn't invest any money into it if you don't really need it. Save up for the SR swap or find a totalled classic that you could buy for a couple hundred and swap everything over to. Good luck with it!

Dont strip your car that doesnt make any sense. Unless its a full track car or autoX. stripping a daily driver makes no sense to me. I took the a/c out of my daily driver only because it didnt work and it was only a 250$ car fixing the a/c wasnt worth it. But im keeping a spare, jack, passenger seat, back seat, etc... as far as the airbox goes i would just get a ebay intake and swap the cheap-o filter with a k&n or something of equal flow.

If i was you i would loose the ghetto style wheels and get some b14 or b13 SE-R wheels with nice tires. One major mod you need to do is loose the automatic the auto weights almost twice as much as a manual, my auto auto trans i pulled from my SE-R weighted 135lbs fully drained with no tq converter.

I did the sr20 swap on my car. It will be cake once you figure out that you have rewire 2 starter wires. The motor swaps aren't that hard at all. Just getting all the parts is the hardest part. So let me know if you got any questions when you start the swap.
