New LOOK!!! Same ole' ride :) and some!

so for a while i really didnt post on the forum since i was going through family stuff with the death of my grandma and well i been kinda sick with a killer back pain. but now im back and i have been working on my car here and there. My car has been through a couple of different looks in the past couple of months and i thought i would show some of the changes.

this was my ride around last december...

then i decided "damn, i need better lighting " so i bought the dark housing tsuru kit from DICK...

then i thought to myself "damn, i need new tires, might as well get some rims too!" so i ended up buying these (and yes i bought shoes while i was at it lol )...

about two days later i bought some JDM two door sunny side skirts and in true B13 owner fashion i rattle canned them sons of bitches. Fast forward a couple of months and i thought "man i need a new lip, something old but new, something fresh yet stock" so i bought the new tsuru lip. so lets do the math here.... Rims+Headlights+sideskirts+New Lip= this....

fast forward a couple of more weeks and i helped my friend find and purchase a g20t in san diego. i drove it back to LA and man was it comfy. the best part was the HID lighting. those things lit up the road . so i thought "man i wants HIDS!!!" . this is my boys G20t...

Not only do i want HIDs but for over 3 months my Sunny grill has been sitting in the corner of my room collecting dust and to be honest i miss it. so i started thinking "man i want my HIDS and Sunny grill" so i manned up and sold my tsuru kit this past sunday to a friend. and so here is how the car currently looks...

And now my mind is working again "man i want fog lights again". everyone that knows me knows im low key and i hate anything flashy or that gets attention so i kinda want to make the car look as stock as possible again. i removed my fog lights years ago because they looked like crap. not only that but i had to remove them to trim my bumper to install my intercooler. so im thinking about getting some aftermarket ones that look stock. so here is where i need your guys help. the question is FOG LIGHTS? or NO FOG LIGHTS?

Personally I think you should keep the fogs off for how clean your car looks without them, but then again at night the yellow fogs look SICK. So thats totally up to you on that, as far as your question for the fogs. Now for your car it looks sick, great update and I think your ride should stay like that. Real clean look.

I like the sunny grille better, too. I would polish the headlights though if they're plastic to take advantage of the HID's in the future. The fog lights look pretty good. BTW, what is your suspension setup? mine is sitting kind of high now.

as much as i love yellow fogs (which i just so happen to have)...you have one thing i don't...and that's a sleeper black i/c and because of that i'm voting no fogs

looks good btw

im running what you call the blown strut/crappy spring combo lol. they are the black eibachs i believe. i see a lot of you have picked up on the fact that those headlights are BEAT!!!

nah those arent it. they are the ones my boy gave me as a CORE return kinda with the purchase of my tsurus. the ones you gave me are better than these though. these things are super cloudy!!!

What i am gonna end up doing is probably buying some aftermarket stock headlights. they are only like 45 bucks shipped each on ebay and my friend told me he could probably get them for me for 30 here locally. i just would like to see a replacement one before i buy it. then the HIDS would look bomb with new headlights. As for the fogs, damn i really like the look and i did consider the loss of airflow to my intercooler, but those who know me know i dont care about the HP im making lol. then again, i dont want to lose any HP . im 50/50 about them right now but the voting on this poll will probably tip the scale as to what i will do.

thanks for the comments my brothas!!!

You made a mistake by selling the Tsurus if you are converting to HID. Once you retrofit the projectors into the housings the flutes on those non-clear lenses will mess up the beam pattern badly.

The yellow fogs look good.

it just fits, thats how lol. it wont work with 93-94 headlights and corners though. the only diff is the hood will be a little more snugg to close. but it all works.

the tsuru set up is gone! the lip thats on my car is the tsuru lip. the area where the fogs would go doesnt fit because of the intercooler. i had to trim all that off to fit it on my bumper.

well, not really, to be honest i was tired of the tsuru set up. it was like too new school for me. im more of an old school kind of guy. but i will be getting brand new headlights for the car so they can be pretty clear. all that retro fitting and stuff costs money which is something i dont have .

im also thinking of moving the license plates over so that even with the fogs the intercooler will get some air down there if i decide to get the fog lights.

That's what I was thinking. Tsurus look to be perfect for retro projector HIDs. Some TSX projectors off ebay for under 100, 4300k hid kit for 140, some hardware, and you've got all the light you need without blinding people and without fogs. The fogs look nice though.
