Project Primera Complete

so i had been gathering parts for a mass install for almost 6 months prior to about
2 weeks ago. after last semester let out i spent 2 weeks straight completely
revamping the car, and im so pumped with how it came out. this now makes the
third time iv basically redone the car. all cosmetics are custom except for the tail
lights themselves.

heres a few pics with some descriptions of every thing iv done within this thread:
http://www.g20.net/forum/showthread....4&page=1&pp=20

Before

After

the front...

i removed my fogs, refinished my lip and re-blacked out airdam and mouth.
refinished my grille and added the nissan emblem. custom amber corners,
side markers, and bumper lenses. Painted mirrors and door handles black.

the rear...

JDM tail lights and custom trunk bar. Primera and Nissan emblems.

rims...

completely refinished my rims. sanded down the lips and polished with aluminum
polish. refinished the "mesh" with metallic bronze, and color matched my new
nissan center caps. also painted my calipers finally

engine...

custom painted nissan VC. refinished fuse box covers and blacked out overflow
can accompanied by clear braided PVC to replace stock tube. Stillen Header with
black header wrap that is slowly turning white on me :tired: random dress up
including couplers (my CAI didnt fit so i made use of the parts i could for show)
and silicon tubing. maxima front strut brace, mauti ground kit, NGK wires. also
installed an OBX AFPR that i got from Loek on Gnet just cause i wanted one and
it looks cool it actually made a little difference in the low end when i bumped
up the PSI a few notches. still waiting to install my 91 intake cam.

other than that i still need to claybar the sh*t out of the car at some point.
once that gets done im gonna take it for a real photoshoot some place and
make use of my buddies new SLR. thanks for lookin! hope you enjoy =)

haha thanks for the comments guys...
calender shots to come, Dsigns already approached me about it on Gnet.
and the paint i used on the rims is rustoleum. got it from home depto.
didnt have an acutual color name on the can but its one of their metalic
metal spec paints. they look even better in person. perfect cross between
gold and bronze for what i was goin for...

yea i figured id get that from some one sooner or later...
not everyone digs the whole amber theme iv come to realize

one of my main reasons for goin with this theme besides the
fact that i think it looks much cleaner, is that i wanted to add
some color to the car. im pretty sure i accomplished that

contradiction of terms, you cannot add stuff to a car to make it cleaner. That is wrong by definition. I.E adding amber to a car that was mostly hues of silver and black. Either way I like both versions of your car equally.

my definition of clean are things like removing side moldings, removing badges, removing colors, I.E clear corners/turnsignals. A bit more extreme, removing door and trunk handles, removing keyholes, removing wipers etc...

you sound like my English teacher...
so please dont bust out your Webster on me. i highly doubt
mine or your "definition" of cleaner parallels that of anyone
elses to a "T". by cleaner i meant more refined than how my
car looked before. not as "aftermarket" looking and better
than it did when i bought it. i think your taking the word
"clean" a little too literally in this instance. but thanks
for the complement
