Well today/tonight i went out and got some pics, and 2 videos, one of my exhaust, and a drive by, and dont worry a commercial street at 11 o clock isnt a place thats risky doing a 0-70 haha
New rims, Dropped, Tinted my 2 front windows, me dreaming with photoshop...lol i cant wait though..
Shot first thing in the morning, yes i know my headlights look like sh*t right now, i screwed them up royaly...
Other side
Camera phone, crappy quality...
Inside fogs, more of an HID look, i dont like them though...
Outside fogs, H3 bulbs, i like these better...
Gauge setup for right now, oil temp, and pressure coming soon in dash. Yes im getting rid of the white interior parts, day by day, as you can see i spent today doing the center peice and the pod...
Thanks to 2dr_sentra for the idea of how to do the pod...one of these days ill take out the sh*tty apc a/f ratio gauge for my wideband...yes i know i bought it when i first got the car and thought it was cool..lol
I used to own one in 04-05 it was a 92 SE, strong reliable motors. I beat the crap out of mine for the time I had it and she never skipped a beat. I thought about turboing mine too, and in theory it's not a bad idea because the car is so light with the GA. But I doubt you'll be able to get anywhere near the horsepower a turbo SR could make.

yea i know i deff wont be up with the built sr guys, but the all motor ones i should be able to match with on like 5-7 pounds, ill push 9-11 when i take it to the track and stuff, i actually thought about going all out with it and getting custom made pistons and other little things, but than again im kind of feining to get to my new house and arizona and start saving for an sr swap, or another se-r that i can start really building....
but for right now the car is pretty damn quick, well for my first car at least...beats my friends b15 with a sr20 and basic mods, thats due to weight of course, but im able to pick on the little tegs and hatch's around here also so im happy...

Your beating SR powered cars with basic bolt ons? I dunno man. I dont wanna say your lying but i'm not sure about that ga16's are putting down about 90whp and a sr20 is doing 120-125whp and with mods probably a little more. But anything is possible i guess.
Your car is a good car for a project, i dont like stripped interior but to each its own. You need some new wheels and lower it and it will be a world of a difference. I would like to see this turbo'd GA16 not to many of them

Uhhh does your friend have 20" rims and 4 bodys in the car? Or does he not know how to drive?
lol no, key point to that was its a b15, the guy is actually very good at driving stick, its just got intake and exhaust, stock piping on the exhaust though...
i had my car stripped of my pass seat, back seats and the way it looks in the pic, and he had his friend in the pass seat, both pretty light guys...i had him thru 1st and 2nd, 3rd he started getting pretty close but i hit 4th and kept it, it amazed me, he was the one saying that i would win, i didnt believe it...

I know of 3 ga16de+t's, each one pushing 252, 265, and 320 whp respectively.
It'd be tough to outdo a 500whp SR20VE+T / VET, but I'm pretty sure most people don't own one. The majority of the people on these forums have stock swapped Bluebirds or Avenirs, and maybe like 20% have SR20's pushing at least over 300whp. Remember, $$$ = horsepower. Anything can be made fast.
Why turbo the GA16DE? Well, why even deal with any turbo'd inline 4's? Why not go straight to turbo 6's? Or V8's?
I just don't get this mentality that the "Gay-16" is a sh*tty motor. Seems to me kinda like the bias towards RWD SR20DET's instead of going the KA-T route. I'm not saying that's what your saying, but I've seen plenty of talk like this on these forums, and I just don't understand it at all, especially when these underdog type of motors have been proven to be good.
see and people talking like that...is what make me want to stick with the ga, i hate when people talk sh*t or look down on it, sh*t i raced a guy with a pretty sick civic around here, and he was asking if it was an se-r, im pretty sure right now with me being gutted and the little mods i do have, i can match an se-r off the factory floor....thats a good enough starting point for me, so if u guys want to talk sh*t or look down on it becuase i have a ga and im turbo'ing it, then go for it, but to every man his own, im not ready for a swap, nor do i feel the need for a lot of power yet....
Looks like a good project man. I have always wanted to come across a turbo'd GA to see how it does. I believe its a sturdy little motor that can hold its own. Keep the car simple and invest into the performance. You'll thank yourself later.

Listen man, no one is talking sh*t atleast im not. But i own both motors the ga is good motor with a iron block and can handle alot of beatings, i'd be impressed to see a kickass turbo ga16 seriously cause no one does it, i say go for it!
yea i do want to get it weighed and take it to the track to see what kind of time i get, 2dr i wasnt talking about u, never would....
im just saying that theres a couple people on here, sentrixxx, which he didnt say anything directly talking sh*t, more like just cracking a joke, but theres a couple people that put doubt into the ga's so seriously
and i think it would be cool to be one of those 3 thats pushing above 300 whp thru a ga
edit-
yea i know its my loss but u figure t28, intercooler, bov, all the piping, and all the little parts here and there, once i blow the ga, which hopefully i wont but i dont doubt it, ill spend my money on getting a gtir or start building a ve+t, and swap the parts right over....
id only loose about 200 bucks for making the manifold....which in my opinion isnt that bad for having a more "unique" sentra that can hold it out with the sr20's

Turbocharge it and have some fun. I had a jdm 4dr sentra and it was pretty quick. Besides its alot cheaper to buy a 1.6 motor than buying a det or vet. The ga16 motor can be found in any junkyard and if you build it with the right internals you can easily have 300hp with a disco potatoe.
yea ive been looking around at internals, dont think i wanna go as far as pistons, but probably will have to do rods, im doing cams pretty soon actually, dont really know how deep i want to get into it if im just pushing around 7 pounds unless im at the track... but i can say for sure that there will either be a gtir or a ve+t in the b13 somewhere down the line

Sentrixx(wayne) was just busting balls. Nothing new with him
But i dont talk down about the 1.6 there very good motors now there not the fastest thing to hit the streets but its a good motor, thats why im keeping it in my b13
Seriously ***... I had a ga at one time in my 94 E and I was able to keep up with a lot of cars off the line. Just for the fact of the weight ratio. But an SR in a sentra e is a different story...
haha that does sound like hell on wheels, i honestly cant wait till i have the garage and have the money saved up to do a crazy ass swap in this car, but for right now since i have the parts it will work just fine for me...
