As we all know. Many Sentra SE-R owners insist on keeping the clean, sleeper look commonly known with classics. But every once in awhile, there is someone out there who insist on creating something ridiculously wrong!
That person is me!
I love my imports, don’t get me wrong, but I love classic American musclecars as well. Chevelle SS and '69 Camaro SS being my favorites. SO.... I decided to incorporate aspects of each styling to my own vehicle, a SENTRA.
I’m fully restoring my sentra from the bottom up (the way I WANT IT!). Everything and anything! I am going to document the entire process in photo form. Custom fabrication is a major part of this project and 99.9% of all the work done on the car has and will be done by me.
First let’s go back in time and look where I started and then bring it up to date.
Here is the car stock. I’m removing the engine and tranny.
This is how you remove a windshield the FUN way!
Time for weight reduction.
Replaced the headliner.
Okay. Here I wanted a musclecar hood. I decided to build a fully functional cowl induction hood. To serve a ballsy look as well as airflow performance enhancing. It’s 5” high and I cut out an SE-R emblem on either side, which will glow at night from neons inside. CALL ME STUPID, but I LOVE IT!
Here is an overview of the car (as of 6 months ago….) LOL. I need newer pics. It looks way different now!
Here is the wing on the back. I really did like this wing, however many of you hate it. The problem wasn’t that I didn’t like it. It's just, I don't think it matched well with the cowl hood. One of them HAD to go. I rather be f**ked in the *** than to throw out my hood.
SO!! I ditched the wing. Removed it. I have a new enticing idea though. I have fallen in love with the spoiler on the rear end of a 1969 Camaro SS. I feel the urge to custom fabricate a replica of the Camaro wing onto my Sentra! It is, of course, going to have to be exaggerated in size to make me happy about it.
I am actually in the middle of making this custom spoiler as of now. And I’m prepping the body for a paint job. I will post pics asap of this as I work though it.
NOW CALL ME F**KED UP!!!!!!!!
