what i've been doing to the nx

its still messy but i installed my dvd player hu (the fast and the furious playing if you noticed), cut my shifter (a little too short if you ask me) and covered up the empty space in my dash (where the radio was located before i updated from 92 to 2007). sidekick 3 pictures but it looks pretty cool. im didnt finish installing my shifter, but thats a rough draft still. once i get some new tires, then i will register and get the car ready to actually drive. anyway, off i go!!! comment plz.

You cover the radio like I did? With the same material?

The shifter looks very short.

how much does them gauges cost?? i went in advance auto (just getting some washing fluid) and saw them for like $30 a piece. i almost threw up at that price and it wasnt the pro comp lites that everyone usually uses. where can i get some pro comp lites for a good price?

Automete gauges go for like 50$/each. I paid 45$ for my volt gauge in the B13 its a Silver sport comp i think. My carbon fiber gauges in the 200SX was kind of pricey. Why did you almost throw up? cause 30 bucks is to much?

What gauges are you getting?

Volt is the easiest to hook up, water temp oil pressure both have sending units.

well i wanted to get water temp, volt and oil pressure in the dash... how easy is volt and how hard is water and oil? i plan on hooking them up myself to preserve money. i wish i didnt have bills. i would get all 3 gauges today and that 2inch cutter thingy to make the holes in the material. hmm. im gonna search for a "how to" on gauge installation. if you know how to or wher to find 1, lemme ***.

Chriscar has a wright up but eh. Um, the volt is 12v source when IGN is on with a inline fuse and a ground, Same with the oil pressure and water is 12v source when IGN is on and a ground, then a wire to the sending unit. I used the oil pressure switch for my oil pressure gauge and the thermostat housing for the water temp. The gauges are labeled on the back -

G- ground
I- IGN
S- sending unit

Hope this helps
