I want to see how much it drops the car.
thanks
I am SO GLAD you are asking about Hypercos and Road Magnets. You are definitely on the right track, those are the only two performance springs to consider. Both of them excellent choices.
If you had asked whether to buy the Tien springs or Dropzones, it would have been my solemn and sworn duty to flame you to cinders. .......
You can find plenty of pictures of cars with Road Magnets in the Group Buy thread. There are photos of cars on Hypercos in the Suspension Thread....I think. I was gonna put in photos provided by Chriscar, I cannot remember if I did so or not. LOL. Sh*t, now I may have to go update the Suspension Thread...again.
Regardless, you are talking about nearly an identical "drop." And if you are buying springs for the "look" you might as well buy some DropStoned springs.

This is my car right now have some lowered springs in the front ( dont know whats the name) and cutted spring in the back.
I want the same drop in the front and a little bit higher in the back.
Right now I think the ride isn't that bad, I need to take care of the bumps in the road. But my back dont hurts and dont jump or bounce when I hit a bump.
Thanks man, I've read some part in that thread but I really want to see pics.
what you think will be better for daily driving????,( I think the Hypercos or Road Magnet),but I like the ride height adjustment on the Teins.
What struts are you using? Most folks use either the AGX's or the CSK's.
You could combine either spring choice, the Road Magnets or the Hypercos, with either the AGX's or CSK's. CSK's are, by all reports, smoother than the AGX's and with either Hyper/RM spring choice, they would provide full OEM travel.
The Hypercos are going to be smoother springs than the RM's on the street. I explain why in the thread posted.
The Tien basics are a fine suspension for the B14. They work great.
If you want adjustability, from the Suspension Thread:

Pair that with a 300-325# 10 inch front spring, GC Camber Plate. Set the rideheight to and 1.5 or so below stock That leaves you with stock levels of suspension travel. I would stack it up against anything anyone else makes in the 1200 price range.
Good luck, you are on the right track. Do some reading, I'll take a look at this thread later this weekend, see if you have any more questions.
Both the Monroe's and the GR2's are OEM replacements. They offer you no benefit from aftermarket springs. With your current situation (cut front, lowered back), you can expect those OEM replacements to not last you nearly as long as any performance oriented strut assembly. They aren't valved right, and cannot take the daily abuse from a lowered suspension.
I have heard nothing but good things from the RM or Hypercos. Hypercos are progressive, whereas RM are linear. I chose RM, simply because there was a groupbuy, and the Hyperco's weren't available at the time. I would rather go with RM or Hyperco, vs. Tein Basics, personally.
Either way, you're definitely on the right track. I'm happy to see that more people are starting to ask PERFORMANCE related questions, and not just " JDM TyTE y0! I want to SLAM muh Shiz!"
That's what I've heard. I don't mean that they're bad, or not a good choice, just that I didn't feel like spending $$$$ on Tein Basics, when I could spend $$ on the RM/AGX setup
I'm sorry I didn't copy everyone else's setup. If you need a preacher to tell you what mods to put on your car, the Reverend Veilside180sx might have a suggestion.
Nah, already waiting on the Road Magnets to get finished and delivered

Good point. I guess I was referring to the $1200 Tein setup.

LOL I just about bought the Tein SS, just decided not to. Went with RM instead. Besides, my funds are now being diverted to the hunny do list for the new house.
RM's are STIFF. You really feel every road imperfection.
I'm daily driving mine and have made a few road trips from dc to ohio and atlantic city. Car's great on the highway at speed. Its even better on the track.
I like the drop. Its very manageable, not too low, but you are gonna make a trade off with respect to comfort.
